Why are so many people asking about the Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection going up in price? It's been said many times that it hasn't. I've had it on my wishlist since before it was even released and it hasn't gone up at all.

I have a feeling ADV is to blame since they asked to have a lot of their titles excluded from Right Stuf's sale last week. I emailed DDD about it though. Hopefully I will get some sort of answer.

Very good point, and everyone needs to check prices carefully, but I already saved around 14 dollars based on your numbers. Speaking of which… THE HERZOG/KINSKI COLLECTION, after discount, is $33.59. There was a $11 or so price drop a couple of months ago, I had paid $43 or $44 for this after discount during the last 20% sale. For $33.59 it’s a really nice buy (five films plus a documentary including Fitzcarraldo and Aguirre: The Wrath of God). The Werner Herzog Collection is also the same price, but I haven't seen the movies in it so I can't really comment on it one way or the other.

As Johnny Zhivago mentioned (post # 263), Cannibal Holocaust is a limited edition. My guess is that they are sold out. And yes, it’s reputation is well deserved.

I had a question: What are some good cheap TV series? By cheap, I mean around $20 or so. I see that Eerie Indiana is $16 or so and has 18 episodes. Is that any good? Would a 2nd grader who loves LOST like Eerie Indiana?

As for the sale this time, I still have several movies from the summer sale that I haven't opened yet so I'll be taking it easy. Plus, I just spent ~ $400 on a new gun / accessories (a muzzleloader - for deer hunting), so things are a little tight right now.
