To add new items to the wish list, I had to move them to the shopping cart and then click the "move to wishlist" tab to get them to the full wish list.
Hope things work a little better during the actual sale!

it was easily over 200 titles, might have been over 300 even. I don't have an exact #. I just now it was a very large list. I was adding a few discs to it for preorders and then on my last added title my list consisted of only that last title. I thought I had so many titles I got sent to a page 2 or something. I deleted that title and it said my wishlist was empty.

Man, I have no idea where to begin! I want so much, yet suddenly have mind block! I can't think of any specific item I want! Guess I'll have to search their entire site (or wait until I see what you guys are ordering)...

Keep aWishlist. Ive maintained one at DDD for over a year now. I have about $2000 on my wishlist, I back it up in case of a crash by keeping a wishlist with dvdaficionado too. I can't even log-in at the moment.

While the code(s) don't work yet, they are active in the system. If you place some items in your card, and put in a valid coupon code, it will take, but won't give any discount. If you put in an invalid code, it will give you the message "You have entered an invalid promotion code, try again.".
The valid codes I have found (most used in the last sale) are:
DD11
DVDSALE
DVDTALK
ESPN
SUPERSALE
USWEEKLY
USATODAY
I'm sure there are others that will work as well, but that should get us started tonight/tomorrow.
EDIT: Found another code (SUPERSALE)

I tend to think the massive amount of desirable titles dropping on 11/22 can be attributed to the sale being so early. I'll admit it; I've been caught off guard. Funds are a bit low because of GS's B2G1F sale, but I'll see what I can manage. I'm going to try and tell myself that I don't need to splurge huge because I've got about 100 titles in my backlog at the moment.

I don't remember the price hikes being so obvious in the previous sales. I guess they're using the popularity/trust from previous sales to make a killing in profits. I don't know if/what I'll order. Maybe the Warners Film Noir Set II and a few criterions.....although I I'll probably get a ton of stuff or none.

I have had my wish list disappear in the past. Now I periodically e-mail it to myself ("tell a friend about my wishlist" option). Since then I haven't lost anything (of course). It can't be re-imported into DDD AFAIK but at least you would have a list of the titles and you could re-enter them manually ... better than nothing.
