Gamestop is currently running a buy 3 get 4th free. Very hard to put now 4 DVDs together that interest me. I just hope this is temporary and they go back to the buy 2 get 3rd free.

The guy at my local GS says that the B3G1F ended on the 28th, and that the DVD's are still B2G1F.
However, this guy is an idiot. Can anyone check their local stores and confirm?

I was at a Gamestop in NYC yesterday and they had a sign up on the door that for 3 days only, it was B3G1F. I didn't look at the days, so I don't know when it ran through. But it would have been at least through yesterday, the 30th.

Also, it may still be going, and the store employees have no idea about it. The one thing I've noticed among the 4 Game Stop stores in my area is that either the managers don't bother to tell the other employees what's in the morning e-mail, or the employees don't bother to check what's up.

Made out nicely today. Had a $25 giftcard so dropped by one I hadn't hit up in a month and found some nice deals.
X-Men 4-Disc Set...$17.99
Winnie the Pooh 25th Anniversary Edition...$9.99
G.I. Joe Movie...Free
The G.I. Joe Movie had been on the wishlist way back when, but I didn't even realize it was OOP until I got home. I'll probably still hang on to it, though.
As an aside, the clerk said the B2G1 Free sale would be going until Friday, although it was a possibility the DVD sale would be getting extended.

The have a sale going on now for the $5.99 bargain bin titles. They're 3-for-$10 PLUS the buy-2-get-1-free is still in effect. I picked up six titles for $14 and change.

I think this Gamestop 3/$10 deal seems to be very good. It seems to be combining with the the B2G1F when they ring the movies at the register.
I got 3 movies for $8.14 with tax. Had I not forgotten the 10% off card, it would be less than $2.50 per movie.
I came away with Stevie Ray Vaughn: Live in Austin, a Cowboy Junkies CD/DVD set, and Panic Room superbit.
Some of the things I showed restraint from buying:
LOTR (theatrical releases)
Motorcycle Diaries (FS)
De-Lovely
A bunch of Disney titles
Spiderman 1&2 (2 disc sets)
Mystic River (1D version)
Terminator 3 (2D)
DMB: Live in Central Park (2D)

I know the 2 local GameStop owners by name..lol. I'll probably hit them up tomorrow, because I had to give them time to reload.
Last trip, I got the 4 disc Rambo Trilogy in the metal tin for $13. Best boxed set deal I've recieved aside from the $27 Transformer sets and the free Seinfeld Season 4.

3 for 7.09 at my store, and I dont have the card either. Not much good stuff, but still, for less than 2.50 a movie I had to grab 6.
Rocky Special Edition
Waiting for Guffman
Ghostbusters 2
Tomb Raider
Star Trek Insurection Special Edition
and one other I cant remember

I remember finding Stargate season 7 when it was a new release, and it was priced at $18. I asked how much they gave the person for it, and they said "about $6 cash."
