I was there yesterday and the sale was still on. Found the 3 Disc WWE Undertaker set and the 3 Disc Deluxe Spiderman set in the 2/$10. Also got Transformers Season 3 Part 2 & Season 4 for $27 with my discount card.

I love this deal, I went to two different Best Buys and made out liek a bandit:
from ther 2 for $10 = 1 free I grabbed:
Thelma & Louise (SE)
Open Water
Dead & Breakfast

Across the street for $50:
Futurama S4
Transformers S3 pt1
Battlestar Galatica (2005) S1

Hell, Walmart alone sells Battlestar Galatica S1 for 45 bucks , so I was pretty happy!

The deal is still going at my local gamestop, just picked up 2d Minority, 2d Gladiator DTS, & Jackass: The Movie for under $20.

I also noticed they had stacks and stacks of more used DVDs waiting to replace sold stock. Also the back room had hundred more. Here's hoping I can find something rare-I'm hoping I can find Snow White eventually.

I passed up Millenium (sp?) S1 and S2 and Futurama S2. I'm kicking myself now, because with my card it would have only been about 50 bucks total.

I should run back later this week...

Man, I'm addicted to this thing. With some free time on our hands yesterday, me and the woman went to a couple ones we hadn't been to before. The first one had nothing I really needed (although they had the Kino version of Metropolis for 10 bucks, an excellent pick-up). The second one had more to offer. I grabbed The Daily Show: Indecision 2004 ($19.99), The Lion King ($12.99), Aladdin ($12.99), and Christmas Vacation SE ($9.99). She got a pair of titles, too, so Vacation and one of hers were free.

The membership there has already paid for itself the way I've racked up purchases since. Since last Thursday, I've grabbed 13 titles from GS. We'll be heading to a couple more today. Coupled with the DDD sale, November's gonna kill me.

This ends tomorrow according to the GS folks. I asked when the next one would be and they said in two weeks.

All my GS had was about 30 copies of Resident Evil and The Last Castle. Wound up going to an EB in the same mall and found Snow White for $15, wanted it for a while so picked it up even though no amazing deal.

Received the email last night stating the B2G1 Free was rolling. If I was a Buffy fan, I would be in heaven...

One of my local GameStops got in Buffy Seasons 1 THROUGH 7 and South Park seasons 1-2 a few days ago.

Anyone with an ad know if it's DVD's and used games or just DVD's?

Stopped in a couple tonight and landed Dumbo, Aviator and Rounders CE. Tonight was a perfect example of why I always browse through the shelves two or three times, since I missed Dumbo and Rounders the first time through.

The clerk forgot to ring up Aviator for free, which had me momentarily thinking the sale wasn't on. Dumbo hadn't been marked with a price, but I knew I was getting it anyway since it's tough to find without going online. I checked the receipt after I realized it shouldn't have cost me over $30 and saw that he hadn't applied the deal. So $14.99 for Dumbo, $9.99 for Rounders CE and Aviator for free was a nice personal BF deal.

Details! I love hearing about other people's finds for some reason. Probably because it gives me ideas/hopes on what's to be had.

I'm currently visiting Stone Age family, i.e., I'm on dial-up, but I'll post my haul when I get back to civilization tomorrow.

Whenever I see the two-disc editions of flicks like Boogie Nights and Se7en at GS for $9.99, I get a little down for buying them for much more. Of course, those are great deals for anyone who doesn't have them. Especially since those are the prices for the single-disc editions.

The Gamestop I went to tonight had Dark Shadows vol 20 for $5.99. Yes, a set that sells at Best Buy for $53 new. Any DVD that Gamestop's computer doesn't recognize gets a generic $5.99 tag. The Mystery Science Theater 4-disc sets are the same way.

Unfortunately, one of the employees had it set aside for himself (along with Batman TAS vol 3 and a few other goodies).

I picked up Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Cinderella Platinum Edition, and Sin City.

Onevisit to gamestop I grabbed:
Vista Series 2-disc Tombstone...9.99
Five star 2-disc French Connection...9.99
2 -disc Singing in the Rain....free

Today...
W/S Unrated Land of the Dead...14.99
2 disc One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest...9.99
WWF King of the Ring 2001....free

osbournes season 2....9.99
Simple Life season 2(for the wife)....9.99
WWF No Mercy 2001....free
& 2-disc Outsiders-the complete story for 5.99

Another Gamestop, I was so busy, and I work across from them so they put aside some stuff for me to get tomorrow
Hard Rain....5.00
Children of the Corn: Revelations....$5.00
Hercules in New York (a joke gift for a friend) ....free
Absolute Power....5.00
War of the Worlds (C Thomas Howell/Jake Busey version)...5.00
Dawn of the Dead 2004 w/s (a gift for another friend) .....free
and The "Species Trilogy" 4 disc box set for 14.99

I find some nice stuff at the game stops, but I still have not hit one of those legendary "Criterion" finds, and when I do see a criterion at their store it is usually Tenebaums, Life Aquatic, Chasing Amy or one of the other main stream titles, I never seem to find the cool foreign titles some folks have been fortunate to find!

* I returned Gitaroo Man after I found out that it was a re-release. When I went in to do the return, I told the guys behind the counter that I had purchased the game as part of the B2G1 sale and asked what the return policy was (I hadn't ever had to return a B2G1 item there before). The guy shrugged and said, "It's not the free one, is it?" and upon ascertaining that it was not, proceeded to refund me the full amount of $44.99 plus tax. Thus I inadvertently ended up with slightly better than a B1G1 deal on Cubivore and SFU. I don't intend to take advantage of this policy loophole, but it does seem to make sense, if you get several equally priced items in the B2G1 and aren't 100% sure you want all of them, to ask them to mark as free the item you're least sure you want to keep.
