As of now, the sale is back is on. IT's 3:35AMEST

thundergod 10-11-05 05:56 AM

Yes I notice that sale too again.

I got lois and clark in that first sale (20.98) before the prices jumped back up.
Now its 19.97. But $1 is nothing lol

catracho 10-11-05 07:12 AM

Smallville S1, S2 = $29.97 not 20.98

BUT S3 is also $29.97

I wish smallville season 1 or 2 was $20 so I can make my purchase already.

Just picked up a Raymond Season 2. Been looking for that at KMart and Walmart and came up empty. Amazon has been getting alot of my business lately.

illennium 10-11-05 04:39 PM

More stuff added:

Smallville Season 4 $30
The O.C. Season 1 $30

Don't forget the rebates.

runner001 10-11-05 06:02 PM

hmm...i'm debating whether or not i should go ahead and order season 3 and 4 of Smallville (already sprung for seasons 1 and 2 at DDD). Do you guys think S3 and S4 are gonna get cheaper or $30 is probably the bottom for a while?

Go to DDD.

John*D 10-11-05 06:26 PM

Even More stuff added:

One Tree Hill S2: $29.99

(I had $20 in GC from survey's and 1.57% A9 discount so my total was $9.50 free s/h and no tax - SWEETNESS!!!)

Hopefully OC: S2 will go down too!

thundergod 10-11-05 10:26 PM

I just ordered Smallville Season 4 :)

I am glad I waited. To be honest I never expected Smallville S4 to be at 30USD so quick

Same here.

grassmonk 10-12-05 02:41 AM

Sweet! Got Smallville s3 and s4 for $57.69 (after some $2.25 discount Amazon had for me). Picked up s1 and s2 last week for $18.88 each and after the WB rebate of $30 for 4 seasons, I will have gotten each season for $16.95.

illennium 10-12-05 07:56 AM

If you buy O.C. Season 1 together with OTH Season 2, you save an additional $2. There may be other such package deals. This is the only one I saw.

pagansoul 10-12-05 09:10 AM

I saw a bin at my Walmart (Georgia) that had for under $20: Smallville S1 and 2, Lois & Clark, Gil Island S1, Duke's H S1, Nip & Tuck and some others. I only got N&T myself but thought about Smallville but I had just ordered Stargate SG1 S8 from Amazon so could not fit it into my budget this month, even at 20 each.

bboisvert 10-12-05 10:22 AM

Holy crap, I wasn't expecting Smallville S4 to be part of this!

I hadn't picked that up yet, just because I have a huge unwatched pile right now. Looks like the pile just got one boxed set bigger. :)

!

What kind of surveys have you been doing? Is there someplace to sign up to do surveys with gift cards?

Thanks,

Christi P.

DeepDiscountDVD.com has Smallville Season 3 for $29.87

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/redir...fier=WBD039721

That comes out a few bucks cheaper than Amazon because of their free shipping and no tax!

And you can price match Smallville Season 4 for the same price at DDD and save on the tax!

bboisvert 10-12-05 05:43 PM

1. Amazon offers free shipping for any purchase over $25, so that isn't an issue.
2. What state do you live in where Amazon charges tax?!? I didn't realize they did that anywhere.
3. If you use the Amazon Pi/2 A9 discount (1.57%), it'll be cheaper than DDD for most people.

They definitely charge 8.8% here in Washington State.

bboisvert 10-12-05 06:04 PM

Hmmm... I guess this is one case where living in Massachusetts means fewer taxes. ;)

runner001 10-12-05 06:11 PM

I purchased Smallville S1 @ Target (they didn't have S2 in stock) last week, paid $20.46

Went with DDD for S2 for $19.89

Went with Amazon for S3 & S4 for $29.97 ea. minus A9 discount for total of $59.00

So that means I paid $99.35 for all four seasons (cheaper than any of the season packages any sites are offering), for an average of $24.84 per season. And that's BEFORE rebates

What is this discount?

if you're signed into your amazon account, you perform a "web search" in the box marked "A9 Web Search" to the top right of your screen. If you've never done it before, it takes a few days to a week before your discount kicks in. The amount of discount is Pi/2 or 1.57%

hope that helps.
