I wonder how they got it 14.92%? 20.05% would have been alot better. Any great deals with this coupon?

No free shipping?

Unlike past codes, it looks like there's no free shipping attached with this deal. With sales tax, that basically negates the 14.92% discount. Here's hoping they put out a 20% off with free shipping code soon…

Not working with this promotion code. Also says so in the fine print. Scumbags.

1492 code does not work with free shipping over $49

I tried several times to submit orders over $49 with both the 1492 discount code and the free shipping deal with no luck. I sent them an email asking but haven't heard back. So basically this is a rather useless deal.

I guess that's just more money for DDD once they have their 20% off deal.

Yeah, I spent an hour putting together an order this morning and then saw the free shipping disappear when I used the 14.92% off coupon. Savings of about $32 but about $22 lost on shipping. So I didn't complete the order and wasted an hour.

Count me in, too!

After spending nearly a half hour, the original price of $82.99 came down to $78--only a $5 savings. Of course, if you wanted to bother to send in for the rebate you could save an extra $10--too much hassle for me when you could get other deals out there WITHOUT the hassle. (Costco has it for $74).

What I found upsetting was that Fye.com charges $2.98 for budget shipping, yet as other posters noted, you can't qualify for the normally free shipping due to the Columbus Day discount. And when they total the charges, they add the shipping fee into the sales tax calculation.

Definitely not the way I want to do business!

movielib, the free shipping you lost was based on the $2.98 value, not $22.

dvdirv, something wrong with your numbers. You should have received a $12.35 discount on an $82.99 purchase, not $5.

Savings depends on the amount you want to spend as to whether is is a deal or not.

I am buying the Friends Limited Edition Collection and it was a good deal for me. Saved $32.82 to which $2.98 was added to shipping. That with a $40 rebate makes it okay.

I wish you were right but you're not. I just reconstructed my order to check it. It totaled $214.90 (for ten items) before any discounts. It showed free shipping. I then applied the coupon and got $32.06 off. But then the budget shipping was $21.83 instead of free. So my total savings was $10.23. But wait. There is also tax of $11.26 which I am not charged if I shop at Amazon or DDD etc. I'm actually losing $1.03 on the overall deal. I realize there are some rebates and I was counting on those to sweeten the deal but they are a pain and not worth it overall since Amazon, for example, has great deals on some of those such as Batman Begins and Mr and Mrs Smith.

14.92% off with free shipping would have been worth it but take away the free shipping and it just isn't.

I don't think that Kayak realized that you were buying 10 items.

Dabomb is right, I didn't realize that.

Movielib, for you it would not be a deal. Sorry!

Sorry, I did the math right, but did not make myself clear.

The $78 final price after 14.92% discount includes both shipping and sales tax.

I just resent being offered a nearly 15% discount that translates to only a 6% discount!
