The Omen Collection - $14.99 @ Amazon

Just in time for Halloween, Amazon.com has dropped the price for The Omen Collection down to a mere $14.99. Could it be a price mistake?

I think it's a true price. DDD has it for under $18. I might get it if I knew more about the packaging.

If it's the same set I have... It's a box set with the 4 films (the 4th is only available in the box set). Each film has its own keep case.

Not that it's necessary, but I wonder if this drop means that Fox will re-release the set to coincide with the remake next year.

What remake? I haven't heard anything about that. Thanks for the info!!!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised....every decent movie from the past is getting remade!!!

For $14.xx I will have to think about getting this set. It has been on my wishlist for over a year.

The only 2 cast, so far, are Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles. Unfortunately, the guy directing this gave us "Flight of the Phoenix".

Wow, I remember paying close to $100 for the set when it first came out years ago.

LOL !! the first disc 'The Omen' is currently on sale at TWEC stores at $4.99 after a $5 MIR. Considering that this is the only decent flick in this set, even $14.99 seems high

If you like supernatural thrillers with a touch of horror it's definately a good blind buy. At $3.75 per movie what have you got to lose? The first Omen movie is a classic that's worth the $14.99 alone.

I saw Omen IV on HBO not too long ago and didn't think much of it. I suspect I may have enjoyed it better had I seen the previous 3...what with the storyline seemingly relating to the previous movies.
