Warner Bros. Season One sets for $19.99 @ Walmart & KMart (YMMV) NOW ONLINE @ WALMART

I have seen rumors on cheapassgamer.com that Wal-mart and K-mart are having price drops on WB season one sets to $19.99. They have next week's target ad on the site and it lists the following:
$18.88
Smallville s1
Lois & Clark s1
Gilmore Girls s1
Gilmore Girls s2
One Tree Hill s1
"Titles shown and selected others"
As if that wasn't enough for these $18.88 box sets, WB has a rebate form in each of their tv box sets in which you can get money back depending on how many sets you buy. Buy 2, Get $10....Buy 3, Get $20....Buy 4, Get $30....Buy 5, Get $40....Buy 6, Get $50

Too bad I paid full price for these. I think this is at brick and mortar stores only happy hunting.

I Picked up Lois and Clark and Smallville Season 1's at Wal-mart the other day @ 19.99 each. Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 was tagged as well but they were out of stock.

I think these are going to be priced this way everywhere - we got tons of Buena Vista titles in at my store for some reason.

Per CAG, the following were reported as being ~ $20...

@ K-Mart:
Nip / Tuck Season 1 - 19.99
Everybody Loves Raymond Season 1 - 19.99
Everybody Loves Raymond Season 2 - 19.99
ER Season 1 - 19.99 (this is priced at 46.99 as well!)
Lois and Clark Season 1 - 19.99
Smallville Season 2 - 19.99
*Dynasty Season 1 + 2 - 19.99 (I am guessing the OP @ CAG meant Dallas, since only season 1 of Dynasty has been released, and Dynasty is Fox, not Warner.)*
Dukes of Hazzard Season 1 - 19.99
Dukes of Hazzard Season 2 - 19.99
West Wing Season 1 - 19.99
West Wing Season 2 - 19.99
Friends Season 1 - 19.99
Friends Season 2 - 19.99
--
@Wal-Mart:
Everybody Loves Raymond Season 1
Everybody Loves Raymond Season 2
Nip/Tuck Season 1
Friends Season 1
Friends Season 2
Lois and Clark First Season
ER First Season
Gilligans Island Season 2
Smallville Season 1
Waltons 1st Season
Dallas Season 1 and 2 (one package)
West Wing Season 2

Most likely both stores have the same titles marked down to $20, but there may be one or two that don't match up, which is why I kept it as two lists. Thanks go to [email protected], [email protected], the OP of this thread, and all contributors.

Which BV titles did you all get in? It would be nice if Popular S1 and Once and Again S1 were knocked down to $19.99

Does anyone have a report on any Los Angeles area Walmarts? Titles available, if stores are stocked, etc.?

No go in Shreveport LA. Tried 3 different Wal-Mart's and none knew anything about this sale.
Oh well, at least I got in on the Target 5.99 misprice awhile ago.

I hit the 2 Wally Worlds in my area. One had absolutely nothing. The other only had Raymond S1, Smallville S1 and Lois & Clark S1. Their shelves were practically barren, though, so I'm going to check tomorrow on my way to work and see if they do a restock tonight.

I checked one today and they only had Raymond S2 (S1 was out of stock), and Lois and Clark S1. Dukes of Hazard S2 price tag was there, but it was out too. I'm going to check another one tomorrow.

Dukes of Hazzard is only on sale at K-Mart. Wally World had season 2 for full price.

I worked for Wal-Mart a year or so ago, and I've never known them to get the dvds out on Tuesday. For some reason, managers don't care if the dvd section is updated the night before or if there's nothing to sell in the section. And this on the day where people are there for new releases! If you ask, they will tell you the stuff is out of stock or sold out, but it's really because they don't spend time in prep work. Best bet is to come back Wednesday or Thursday.

Smallville Season 2 at K-Mart? I'll have to stop there on my way to Walmart.

For the WB $10-50 rebates; Do all the DVD's need to be purchased at the same time and on one receipt? Or can they be spread accross multipe purchases?

Popular was not one of them, but the Once And Again sets were. The other titles were the same.

Is this an instore only sale or have the prices not been marked down yet? Once and Again is showing up as 69.99 on the Best Buy website.

Best Buy isn't participating in the sale yet.

I wonder if this will be a B&M only since walmart.com does not show the reduced prices.
