Well, I got the used portion of my order already and one item was wrong. UPC code on the back of the DVD case was correct, but it was a sticker placed over the wrong item. No return label included in the shipment either. Sigh.

This is getting to be a hassle (FYE/Wherehouse/Spun and all of the conflicting information)! Some posters have confirmed that FYE will probably pay out close to what wherehouse.com is quoting for used discs, right?

I'm actually considering trading in all of my unwanted stuff for in-store credit at FYE. I wonder if they are taking any pre-orders for the XBox 360? I might have enough to pay for most of it.

Hi, my bf went in to FYE to trade some stuff in the other day (wherehouse.com prices are very accurate), but they said they only were getting 4 360s in, the pre-orders were already filled, and that they wouldn't get any more til after Xmas. Also, they didn't even seem sure they were getting the pre order 360s b/f xmas. I was kinda mad cause all the pre-orders around me are filled, and I could have a good amount of FYE credit with all the shiznit I have to trade in. Anyway, I send a lot of stuff to wherehouse.com, and they have only ever rejected one thing, which they sent back (however, NOT in the condition I sent it, but maybe I didn't pack it well.) I think the only way to get a 360 now is by camping out the day it's released, or paying $1000 for the bundles on gamestop.com that haven't sold out [yet] b/c they are so much $. Good luck everyone!

I e-mailed them about the expiration of the coupon today, hopefully they'll get back to me early tomorrow.

Honestly this whole thing has kinda turned into a fiasco. First the thing with Spun, then there's been issues with FYE at least for me, and the confusion over when the coupon expires. I just pray that the coupon expires on 10/13 that way i can send my stuff in the mail and place my order. And i vow never to deal with FYE ever again. I called one last store and got 3 different answers to my question about getting a gift card with my trade ins. Anything from yes, to No, to we can give you cash that you can use towards a gift card but its 25% less than store credit?? Just a completely inept company.

My used disc order arrived yesterday, and everything was fine - the Zombi 2 set still included the poster reproduction.

I ended up using my wherehouse trade-in credit to get the Lone Wolf & Cub set. One thing I noticed in redeeming my credit is that they charge tax on shipping.
