Save up to 46% on Synapse DVDS @ DDD!

Like the Anchor Bay sale, there's a lot of great cult stuff here. Almost all of these are must haves for cult fans but the easy recommends are Street Trash, Thriller(They Call Her One Eye), The great Asian Cult Cinema Box Set, Bizarre, Brain Damage, Evil Dead Trap and Wild Zero:

While I agree with the recommendations, do note that Evil Dead Trap is non-anamorphic, there are 2 different versions of Thriller (one has XXX scenes), and that does not appear the remastered LE of Brain Damage.

Is this the edition of Thriller with the XXX scenes that BSTNFAN spoke of as far as anyone knows?

The $15.00 one is the one with the hardcore scenes:

For anyone looking for titles, the only one I currently have is Wild Zero, and it's definately worth picking up.

Long Weekend seems to be great from reviews, naturally I ordered it prior to this sale.
Some of Synapse best stuff doesn't seem to be there, but Deadly Spawn, Street Trash, Thriller, and Lemora (to a point) are all recommended by me.

I'm eager to see/get Nail gun Massacre and Effects.

BTW, hold off on Document of the Dead. Synapse is remastering it in HD and new extras for sometime in 2006.

Beware of buying the Street Trash single DVD - they're putting a 2xDVD out early next year.

Also, if you can get to the outlet store in Itasca, IL, I saw (2 days ago) that they had a bunch of the Special Edition Brain Damage DVD's (the new version) for $2.99 a piece in their clearance section. They've been there for a while.

I would recommend Thriller - A Cruel Picture LE, Lemora, and Blue Sunshine. The Grapes of Death is pretty good, but very slow. I wasn't crazy about The Deadly Spawn which is the only other one I've seen.

Like what? It looks to me like every in-print Synapse title is there.

Are you 100% sure about that? I love this movie and would kill for a 2 disc release. Do you have any more details?!?

Here's the DVDTalk review:

http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=17496

Check in the "extras" section of the review, where they talk about a 2Disc coming later.

I've tracked down a couple of mentions on the internet about the upcoming 2D "Street Trash" but haven't yet found any that list features. Still, I'm willing to wait. This movie rocks!!

Heh, you're right. Realized this shortly after. Don't know why I thought it was Synapse...
But yes, I can't think of any other Synapse titles not on there, then.

I already own The Deadly Spawn - but this one is definately worth getting for those who don't already have it.
