Just went to Circuit City during lunch, and found the new Ren & Stimpy Season 5 & Some More of 4 that came out this week for $14.99. They were all tagged this amount, and rang up for that price with no problems at all. Just a heads up for anyone looking for this, especially that the CC and Best Buy websites have it for $34.99.

Yep, it's 14.99 in the computer, bummer my store doesnt have any in stock.

I own the first release, never got around to getting the 2nd, and was going to pass on this, but for $14.99, I may just give in...

Checked out my CC store, nothing. Oh well, probably don't need it.

Had a family member pick one up in Detroit for me. It was $14.99, great deal. :up:

Since I was there anyway, picking up the new Sony DVP-NS70H DVD player, I also grabbed the lone shelf copy of Ren & Stimpy: Season 5+ at the Springfield (OR) Circuit City.

Is this marked at that price, or does it have to be rung up to see it?

Not worth $15, IMO. Terrible seasons.

I just got one at the Newington, NH, CC and they had 3 more on the shelf where I got mine. It was stickered $14.99 so it was a smooth transaction.

good for you...i hope i find this...i have the other two sets, and was going to pass on this for the 30 dollars could be used on some other good stuff....but at this price i'll bite

I thought I read somewhere that Jon K was going to put out a mega set of the whole series. Is this true, or am I just imagining stuff?

Definitely not worth the original $34.99, but I already have the first two.

Yes, there are rumors of a mega-set, but for those of us who already own the first two sets, this is a very cheap way to finish the original series (and, as many have noted, most of us wouldn't have bought this set if not for the $14.99 price.)

well the other circuit city said they didn't get any in either...they claimed they never get releases until at least a week after street unless its a major title....thats a big change from when i worked there, but that was almost 5 years ago...before they did the big sweep out of all the old guys.

they also didn't have oldboy, which i had heard was only like 13 bucks. said try back next week....i never buy anything there anymore, just take my ad to BB when I need to

So will the price be the same next week?

i am wondering the same....seems like this is tagged at 14.99....hard to believe that is the everyday price. A glitch possibly....hope it stays that way until i find it
