Costco - $13.99 Hanna-Barbera Collections (YMMV?)

At my local Costco (Brooklyn), these titles were each $13.99:

Challenge of the Superfriends - First Season

Tom and Jerry Spotlight Collection - Volume 1

Wacky Races - Complete Series

Dastardly & Muttley in Their Flying Machines - Complete Series

The Perils of Penelope Pitstop - Complete Series

Superman: the Animated Series Vol. 1 (I'm didn't think this was Hanna-Barbera, but it was in same location and at the same price as the rest of these)

There were only a few left of most of these, but there were large quantities of some (especially Penelope Pitstop).

This is fine by me. I was just keeping it in the weekly CostCo thread. But, since it's a better $ than when the coupon for July was around, I think it deserves it's own thread.

When I saw those, it made my day as I missed them during their coupon "tour" & figired I'd have to wait to find them again elsewhere. These $ were better tho'!!

Thanks jester. I didn't even realize there was still a weekly Costco thread.

I couldn't believe it when I saw these sets so cheap. Neither could a few of the guys working at Costco. They were eyeing the ones I picked up.

I also saw Jetsons season 1 at my Costco for the $13.99 price, not sure if it is a mistake though, as it appears that it wasn't priced that way in Brooklyn. I'd previously picked it up with the coupon for $21 or something! Darn.

I may have to visit my local SamsClub??

Has anyone seen any variance in the $ @ SamsClubs for these? I remember from the MadTV thread that some had it @ $12.xx & others were $1 more.

I went to Costco and all they had were two copies of Penelope and one copy of the Superfriends. At least it wasn't sa total lost with the superfriends. But I really wanted Superman season 1. I hope they get more stock in.

I wish my Costco had Jetsons Season 1, but I didn't see it at all. It would have been sweet to pick that up for $13.99. Costco has a great return policy. Could you buy Jetsons at the new price and return it on the old receipt? Sorry if I'm not supposed to post that, but I don't see anything wrong with it.

I swear Costco needs to hurry up and build their store here. They've been talking about it for years and it I don't feel like going 30 minutes out of my way to go to costco. Luckily, there is a good chance I'll be pretty close this weekend and can pick up races and superman.

YMMV = your mileage may vary......
meaning isnt a sure thing, like an advertised/in the paper price, might not be at all stores, etc.

I went to a different Costco today (Lawrence in Long Island) and snagged the last Jetsons Season 1. They had all the other titles. I think there was only one each of Superman and Superfriends, but I saw a few of all the others.

I was at Sams Club last night, and they had all the Hanna-Barbera Collections as well, but they were $12.99. My brother thought they were a misprice so he bought a few sets, but obviously its just a new low price for these collections.
