My local Family Dollar store is starting to carry more DVDs, with a selection at the $1, $5, $10 and $20 level. For $20, they had some decent box set deals:

LOTH: Fellowship of the Rings Extended Version
Clint Eastwood Collection (Unforgiven, Dirty Harry, Outlaw Josey Wales)
Friends Seasons 2 & 4
Flintstones Complete First Season
Scooby Doo Complete First and Second Season ($65 list!)

I'm sure inventory is different at every store, but it might be worth checking it out...

Another $20 deal at Family Dollar is boxed set of 3 westerns: The Wild Bunch, Rio Bravo and The Searchers.

Also found comething called the "Denzel Washington 3-Pack". I'm can't remember the names of the three movies included, but they were all snapper packs in one red, cardboard box.

I started a thread about Family Dollar deals a week or two ago and reported a number of MGM $5 deals. I went back to my Family Dollar after reading these posts and didn't see any of the new deals reported BUT. . .

They did have more $1 Brentwood double features so it wasn't a wasted trip. I picked up the following. . .

Just the usual suspects (no, not the movie) @ my local FD. In other words only $1 and $5 titles. Oh well, was really interested in getting hold of Friends season 3-6 in that price range.
