CC's website had it for $99.99 a couple of days ago, but I checked today and it says $64.99. Hope it is the same in store (usually is).

Expensive week for me, but amazon beats everyone else if you figure in tax, plus no one has "life as we know it" listed.

Because of the same reason that the Lord of the Rings Extended Editions weren't priced lower.

Relax, it a Unniversal title. It'll be $9.99 before Christmas (if the past is any indication)

I highly doubt that this'll be $9.99 before Christmas.

The 2 disc version still retails for $29.99 or something like that.

Considering the fact that this is a 3 disc premium quality release, I highly doubt we will see this for 9.99.

Well I tried to use the coupon on Gladiator and it wouldn't deduct the 3 dollars and I didn't feel like arguing... so oh well. By the way, did anybody find Witness at their Best Buy? I asked them to look the title up in their system and nothing showed up... what gives!?

Just came back from Best Buy, and they had Adam 12 for $34. Went across the way to FYI, and picked it up for $30, and they had a $5 mail-in rebate to boot.

Just to add my tuppence to this discussion, I think a very good comparison to this Gladiator set (regarding its potential long term sales price) would be the Master and Commander deluxe edition. That set still runs for an average of $30 (comparing current Amazon and DDD prices). I'm grabbing the Gladiator set today at CC for $24.99.

i pricematched CC's ad for Gladiator $24.99. also picked up the Ringu Anthology of Terror for $23, which seems like a good price for the 4 Ringu movies.

I was at Best Buy today to cash in some RW certificates. I picked up the Ring Two. I know it's supposed to be 16.99, but they had a sign up that said 15.99. They had to re-adjust the price, as it rang up 16.99. So FYI on that. Yeah, I could've pricematched CC's price, but I didn't have time to waste at their Customer Service counter in order to save a whole dollar.

Does anybody know what is on the Wal-Mart bonus disc? Is it just trailers or actual material related to the movie? If it's good I may just get it at Wal-Mart, but it is such a pain to go there.

I went to the website and it shows the "Rings" bonus disc as being the extra disc. Does that sound familiar? I thought all the extras from "Rings" were included as bonus features on the Ring Two though. Thanks.

Haven't seen this mentioned, but on the back cover of the DVD Insider, they have an ad for 2 For $20 valid 8/21 - 10/15:
AVP (Alien vs. Predator) *
Dodgeball *
Sideways
Man on Fire *
Fat Albert
Day after Tomorrow *
Taxi
I ♥ Huckabees
Elextra *
Kinsey *
I, Robot *
* = Not in weekly ad for $9.99

Picked up a bunch of $9.99 titles:
Sky Captain
I ♥ Huckabees (2 for $20)
Assault on Precinct 13
Punch Drunk Love (superbit)
Elektra (2 for $20)
And, The Transporter

BTW, did Sky Captain have a slip cover? It's the only one of them that didn't have a slip cover.

I purchased Sky Captain when it came out and it does not have a slip cover.
