Keep in mind that Coconuts charges for shipping, and that tax (based on the pre-rebate price) is charged for approximately 40 states.

OP, that doesn't work. It just takes 10% off, Ferris Bueller is knocked down to $7.29, not 99 cents.

9.99 - 10% = 8.99

8.99 - 8 MIR = .99

There is tax and shipping involved which kicks it up a bit.

Thanks for a really great deal. I got the .99 ones. Comes to 1.99 after taxes and postage for me. The rebate form states they have to be mailed separately.

Where is the UPC that you have to cut located? (I guess it varies, but in most cases, will it have to be cut from the outer cover?)

yes, unless you can get a printout of the UPC price sticker at your local TWEC B&M store.

Would the store honor the 10% off? I have a Coconuts just five minutes away.

most likely no...they'll say that the website doesn't have the same overhead that the B&M store does or something like that.

Figured as much. Guess I'll just have to deal with cutting out the UPCs even though I don't like cutting up the insert like that.

the UPCs are on the actual DVD Coverart, not the insert.

Thats actually what I meant. I just have a bad habit of using the wrong words. Thanks for the heads up though.

Has anyone ever done a rebate through them? How fast do they come?

If the rebates take as long as FYE or Strawberries (all are part of TWEC), they usually take 2-3 months.

I get most of my coconuts rebates in about a month. Granted, I do live in the same state as the rebate processing center.

Unfortunately I vowed never to do business with Coconuts due to the way I was treated by their call center in India and the fact TWEC provides no recourse for anyone dissatisfied with their call center, so even if these DVDs were free I would have to pass. Sometimes I have to do things on principle even if it means paying more or not getting something. Apparently I'm the only person who has had problems with Coconuts.
