Went back to the store for the 3rd time and got

Gilmore Girls (3rd Season) $5.99

I said that the guy noticed the problem with the OC when I was there for the 2nd time, but I guess they didn't fix the rest of them...so everything was still $5.99. I love the stupidity at my Target.

The Target in Trumbull, CT-

Looney Tunes Volume 2(sold out of Volume 1)
Monk Season 3
Remington Steele Season 1
Batman Animated Volume 3
Third Rock From the Sun Season 1
SpongeBob Squarepants Season 1
SpongeBob Squarepants Season 2.

The Target in Orange, CT-

Jaws 30th Anniversary
Looney Tunes Volumes 1 and 2
Fantastic Four Complete Animated Series
Joan of Arcadia Season 1.

I scanned just about every set that these two stores had(the price check scanner was located right next to the DVD section at both stores) and other titles that had been previously mentioned scanned at full price. I don't want to sound like an ingrate, but I really wanted to score Charmed Season 1 and BOB. They both came up at full price. I'm going to check the Bethel location tonight to see if I can get lucky on these two sets.

A huge thanks to the OP for the deal of year so far, by far.

Whoa, I don't get off work for another 4 hours, but I'm driving straight to Target afterwards to check it out. Those prices are insane!

In Orlando, FL by the Millennia Mall, Scanned just about everything. Picked up:

Friends Seasons 6,7,8 (sold out of 9)
Little House on the Prairie Seasons 1,2
Looney Tunes 2
Mary Poppins
Will and Grace Season 3 (that's all they had)
The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit starring Gregory Peck

Wish I had more money for the Sex and the City Season 1-6

Nothing at Mountain View, CA. But in Sunnyvale they were all sold out but Jaws and Pretender Season 1. I scan the price tags on the shelfs and they were $5.99. Too late for me.

Ditto.

I almost feel like telling my boss that I'm ill and taking a half-day off.

I went to Target today, but they didn't have any price scanners, so I didn't check any of them out. Is anyone willing to pick some of these up for me or sell what they got. I am interested in these

Sex and the City
Band of Brothers
Gilmore Girls
the OC
The L Word

I got the following at the Target at the Waterfront in Pittsburgh:

Joan of Arcadia S1
News Radio S1&2
Looney Tunes 1
Looney Tunes 2
Marry Poppins

I scanned pretty much everything else that had been mentioned in this thread, but those were the only ones that came up at $5.99.

Lexington, KY - Nicholasville Rd. = No go... Don't waste your gas if you're in the Lexington area. Didn't try the other location, not worth the fuel, traffic and time to drive out there.

Damn....anyone from MI have any luck? I would like a few sets of a couple things...my wife was looking for a lot of these too. Oh well....I'll check later. Does this mistake seem to be only at the stores that remodeled?

Has anyone gone to a Target that had the prices on one visit and then corrected them by the time you stopped through again? I've heard about them pulling them off the shelves but have the prices actually been corrected yet?

I just checked at lunch and it's still going strong in White Plains, NY. In fact, they had "price drop" signs with $5.99 marked for a whole rack of TV series DVDs. They were pretty picked over, though. I scanned about 20 titles and many were still on sale, so here is what was left as of 1:30pm:

Monk- S3
Remington Steele
Mary Poppins 2 disc
Pocahontas 2 disc
Fantastic Four- Complete Series
Little House on the Prarie (all 8 seasons were there)
Joan of Arcadia-S1
Batman Animated Series
Buffy the Vampire Slayer-S1 (I think there were a couple other seasons too)

I snagged the last copy of Charmed and Looney Tunes. There was not a trace of any seasons of Friends, Sex in the City, or the OC. Good luck and thanks for the post!

Unfortunately for me, I already own all of the titles listed here that I'm interested in. I went today to my store in KS pick up a BoB for a gift. Of course, it was normal priced. Same with Jaws and Batman v2. Batman V3, Looney Tunes v2, Pocahontas all scanned $5.99. Sex and the City were all cleared out.
