Anyone know where to find good prices on Kung-Fu flicks?

I dont mean Rush Hour 2 or Hero. LOL

I mean the old classics like:

5 deadly venoms
Shaolin and Wu-tang
The 7 grand masters
Twin Warriors
Drunken Master one and 2
Master Killer

I have all of these on video but im phasing out my vcr collection. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could find these and movies like them. The cheapest ive seen is Deep Discount dvd... but some of those are 17 and 18 dollars each. Thats a little too pricey. If not online then I would love to know where I could find some in Atlanta

Thanks in advance

Try HKFlix, which advertises on this site, or eBay, where I've bought many of my DVDs. You can also try the trade thread at the Kung Fu Cinema site.

Someone also mentioned a rental service, much like netflix, that specializes in Asian films. Can't remember the name of it though.

Hope this helps.

You might also consider ordering from Hong Kong- it's no more difficult to do than any other online ordering. Items are clearly marked, and youwant to make sure it shows "all" for the region (assuming you don't have a region free player yet) and also check for English subs. Including shipping, you could average about $5-10 per DVD from places like www.dddhouse.com where many of us have made many purchases.

for "old classics" get yourself a region free player (like the phillips 642) and then go to cd-wow, layoyo, yesasia, dddhouse, ethaicd, etc... for all the import goodness. outside of fox's fortune star releases, older martial arts flicks seldom get proper treatment in the US. the celestial shaw brothers releases are amazing. region 3 though.

this thread will clarify a lot http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=400372

oh... timeandtide is referring to nicheflix. the netflix of import dvds
