$9.88 two packs at Wal-Mart

I was just at my local Wal-Mart and saw two packs for $9.88. The only one I picked up was Spawn live action/The Cell. There were about ten other different ones. I also got the Panic Room Superbit Edition in the $5.50 Dump Bin, the price tag actually just said Dump Bin, I have never seen that, there were only two copies of that one.

j123vt_99 06-10-05 09:42 AM

do you remember what other ones?

dolfan 06-10-05 09:48 AM

I remember most had at least one of the Bin movies, I know there were two with animated titles, Yugi-Oh the Movie? Kangaroo JAck USA animated, and a Batman/Superman one. Also Remebr Ace Ventura, Thirteen Days, and others along that line.

thanks

I just saw things, but what makes it crappy is that they paired with a crappy title IMO. For example Spawn and The Cell. But maybe somebody else will like some of these pairs.

pinata242 06-10-05 12:49 PM

I picked up Blazing Saddles 30th paired with Caddyshack 20th. I remember Matrix Reloaded/T3.

Other than that, I can only remember titles and not necessarily how they're paired. Swordfish, Training Day, 2 Blades together, Blade Runner. Sorry I'm not much help.

Matrix Rel./T3 & Blazing Saddles/Caddyshack in 2packs at $9.88 per....

doesn't sound right to me...anyone else verify?

Yep they did have Blazing Saddles and Caddyshack together. I told you some titles that don't make any sense are bundled together.

conscience 06-10-05 03:14 PM

I think he was talking about the price, maybe? Matrix 3 and T3, for example. Those are fairly recent films going at $4.94 each.

Blazing Saddles is around 12 bones (cheapest) online by itself.

Pretty good prices though. YMMV, obviously.

My bad. Yes they are that cheap then.

scarredgod 06-10-05 04:08 PM

oceans 11 / knockaround guys is another of the $9.88s.

dolfan 06-10-05 05:20 PM

I just went to another local Wal-Mart and can verify that all of the above titles were there also. BTW the Blade/BladeII pack also included a bonus dvd with a few extras.

Peep 06-10-05 06:22 PM

Those are crazy good prices for some of those titles.

Kangaroo Jack?

Score!

Judremy 06-10-05 09:11 PM

Careful, that sounds like the Kangaroo Jack CARTOON series and not the live action movie.

dolfan 06-10-05 09:24 PM

It is the cartoon!!

xfilekr 06-11-05 01:40 AM

The animated Batman dvd was Mystery of the Batwoman, not sure of the Superman title. Picked up Swordfish/Training Day.

JohnDoeUSA 06-11-05 06:42 AM

I saw The Last Samurai/Interview with the Vampire this morning for 9.44

Say what you want about the evil Walmart Empire, they sure are driving down the price of dvds! If a person wants a main stream hollywood single disk title, then it would seem that a little patiences and a nearby walmart could save a lot of money.

conscience 06-11-05 07:40 AM

WOW! I might have to check out for that. I have wanted IWTV for a long time (any specifics that it is the Special Edition, I am guessing that it is) - might have to pick it up as I enjoyed TLS as well.

Thanks for the heads up on those two titles.

dolfan 06-11-05 09:12 AM

They also had Scooby Doo 1/Scooby Doo 2.

Ronin4223 06-11-05 09:14 AM

add Gothika/Exorcist to the list

BigPete 06-11-05 02:41 PM

Grr ... couldn't find any at all

critterdvd 06-11-05 04:09 PM

Scooby Cartoons Too

twikoff 06-11-05 07:50 PM

Rubix 06-12-05 07:35 PM
