Is the ad stating that those 2 dvd's are $15.00 each, or are they buy both for $15.00 total, as in $7.50 each. Thanks.

I'm taking a guess here, but I'd assume $7.50 each since the regular prices are $9.99 - $19.99. I'm not getting up early to spend an extra $5.01 on any title.

If your interpretation is correct, this has the potential to be a scorching hot deal. I stopped by Sears tonight, they did not have the circular in store(of course), but I looked at the DVD section. The selection wasn't huge but everything other than box sets and things like LOTR EE were $19.99 or less, including all new releases. The caveats: 1) there wasn't a great selection, probably no more than 200 skus 2) there were a lot of fullscreens(though some widescreens). May be worth checking out on Saturday a.m....

To make this deal HOTTER ...

If you have Sears "The Good Life 2005" calendar, there's a $5 off any $25 or more purchase coupon (valid 4/1 - 6/30) that can be combined to any sale.

Assuming you buy 4, the average can be brought down to
($30 - $5) / 4 = $6.25 + tax.

It seems this sale is only for select titles.
These might be the same movies that are regularly 2 for $15 at Wal-Mart.

They have listed on the ad Spanglish and Finding Neverland. They're both still $19.94 each at Walmart

Is anyone sure that this is a national deal? I'm in Portland, OR, and I need to grab both Spanglish and Finding Neverland and I'd like to get both of those discs for only $15, but I don't want to wake up super early if I don't have to.

FYI, a manger will have to approve when the difference is over $10 on any item. I am going to sears in about an hour and will report titles available. Rather it is only certain titles or all titles between 9.99 and 19.99. Hopefully that can save some people some time and gas!

Everytime I click on any of those links, the page loads, then disappears right away. The window closes itself.

SMOKING HOT for me here in South Portland, ME! (although YMMV depending on which manager you get) I grabbed a copy of the ad in store, overheard the sales associate saying to another bargain hunter "I guess it's every dvd $19.99 and under for $7.50 each." Promptly took Finding Neverland, Sideways and Team America: Unrated (all widescreen!) to the register and they overrode the $19.99 for each. Grand total = $23.47!!!!! Good luck!

Launch the links in their own windows - should work. I'm off to check my local Sears.

Just got back from Sears. They had the signs up, but there was no list and everything was ringing up as regular price in the computer so the manager declared that all DVDs $19.99 and under are $7.50. I picked up FINDING NEVERLAND, ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13, SEED OF CHUCKY UNRATED, BE COOL and CASINO ANNIVERSARY EDITION. I would have bought HITCH too, which they had out, but the computer wouldn't let them sell it until the Tuesday release date (should have been the same for CASINO, but that one went through).

As a bonus, the register prints out a receipt with a $5 coupon good June 12-19. It's not good for DVDs though (not that I'm complaining, mind you).

It's a YMMV, definitely. In Cambridge MA they only had Spanglish in stock, wouldn't substitute, and said the 2/$15 only applied to the pictured titles, as well as a rack of 9.99 titles(nothing special there). Even then, they didn't ring up automatically, the manager had to override each transaction....

Same here. Been to my local Sears and was told Spanglish and Finding Neverland are the only 2 new released titles eligible for the sale. Tried to negotiate the deal but no luck.

Back home and called another Sears store on the other side of the town, got the same answer.

Sigh...

I gave a call to my local Sears, and had him read me off the ones that were available, and it sounded like just those $9.99 titles that someone had mentioned earlier.

Yeah, definite YMMV. I got home with Finding Neverland and Spanglish...but it looks like the manager had no clue what was going on. She walked up and said, "oh here they are," pointing to their regular 2 for 15 sale. I was like, "no, those are throughout the week...see, the two pictured there are new releases for this morning only." She was like, "well then I can honor the two that are pictured, and all of these...but none of the other new releases." Bloody hell. Ah well, still a good deal on two titles I intended to pick up eventually anyway.

I'm about to call some other Sears locations around town...so I'll be wishing myself luck. Good luck to the rest of you also.

Same Here. I went ahead I got Finding Neverland and Spanglish (it sucks from what I here).

On a unrelated story, The going price for National Treasure at a major chain story is one Copy of Spanglish without receipt and $2.54 in your favor. Not that I would know, I been told by a "friend".
