Kurosawa DVD Collection Ltd Ed under$50 plus sh
 

When this first came out there was tons of interest but had a $100 price tag. Can't find a price on dvdprivesearch or half.com but outpost has it for $49.90 plus sh. Might be a good deal for those of you who wanted this but didn't want to spend the $$$. I think I am going to pass after reading reviews but thought someone might like this.

It is a fact. Criterion announced the news on their website back in April. Good to hear too, since the transfer for both Ran are not good at all.

Didn't Criterion announced it on April 1st? I'm not sure it's a joke or for real.

No, the announcement was put back up after April 1st, so it seems this winter we'll get it.

I'll assume that any Criterion issue of RAN would have their own extras, so I'm wondering if the commentaries on the current Masterworks edition make it worth owning?

I also found these at my local Hastings (Denton, TX) for $50. They had two of them about a month ago.
