Amazon had a season 1 sale a little while back, as well as walmart where it was $14.99 this may happen again.

The best deal for 24 seasons (and most other FOX seasons) is in Costco. You get the first season for $39.99, and the latter for $29.99 each (by coupon). I did this with some Buffy and Angel sets, and will do this for 24 as well (I need S2+3).

PS: I got BtVS S4 for $40, and Angel S3 for $40, and then got BtVS S5 and AtS S4 for $30 each.

I got season 1 for $12.99 at Best Buy on Black Friday last fall. I've yet to watch any of it. Amazon had it for $14.99 a while back along with other FOX season 1's.

Is the coupon a Costco exclusive or is it just in the packaging of season 1?

Costco exclusive. They put DVDs in longboxes and the coupon is on the longbox.

Actually it was $24.99 on Amazon (I got it from them during that Season One deal). Dark Angel S1, Buffy S1, Simpsons S1, Futurama S1 and a few more were $14.99; Angel S1, 24 S1, and a few more were $24.99; and X-Files S1 was $34.99. They do the deal a few times a year, so if you don't mind waiting, you can get it for $25 or so.

1. So basically go to Costco, buy Season 1... $39.99

2. Go get the coupon from Season 1, buy Season 2... $29.99

3. Get the coupon from Season 2, buy Season 3... $29.99

4. Get the coupon from Season 3, buy Season 1... $29.99

Take the DVD from transaction 4 and return it with the reciept from transasction 1...

You total cost will be $89.97 plus your applicable sales tax...

On a side note... if you are a Sams member as well do as follows...

1. Buy season 1 at Sams for $20.

2. Buy season 2 at Costco for $39.99

3. Take the coupon from season 2 and buy season 3 for $29.99

4. Take the coupon from season 3 and buy season 2 for $29.99

5. Take the dvd from transaction 4 and return it with the reciept from transaction 2.

Your total cost is $79.97 plus applicable sales tax.

Don't know if this is illegal but it certainly may be considered caniving...

Nevertheless, $79.97 makes it an average of $26.66 a season, which is more than reasonable...

It started at $14.99 then bumped up to $24.99 a few days later. I remember getting The Sheild and 24 for $15 each.
