Warners Exorcist, Matrix and Perfect Storm SE Boxes $7 @ DDD B&M Illinois

I just got back from the Deep Discount DVD B&M (Outlet Store) in Itasca, IL. And they are having a warehouse sale - many, many titles for $3-4, some crappy, but some good. And they have a bunch of the Warner Special Edition Boxes for $7 a piece. I picked up Exorcist, and they also had Matrix and Perfect Storm. These are the sets that have the CD, senitype, book, etc all in a big box. They had a fair amount of all 3 of them last I checked (which was closing on Fri night) Their hours on Saturday (last day of sale) are 10AM-3PM. They also have 10% off all merchandise in the store. Also had a bunch of copies of Brain Damage (Frank Henenlotter's, Synapse SE - the new one) for $2.95. So if you're in IL, check it out. THESE ARE IN STORE DEALS, NOT WEB DEALS.

Could you, or anyone in the area for that matter, pick me up the Exorcist? I would be happy to pay you cost, s&h, and some extra for the trouble. I would greatly apprecaite it. Thanks

Jeez, I just opened the Exorcist boxset, and it appears that the senitype / photo card is autographed "Sweet Dreams, Love, Linda Blair" by Linda Blair, and numbered 74/500, and it's not a facsimile, it appears to be real. That's a nice surpirse! Is that standard? It didn't say anything on the box. Interesting.

Do you have an address for the store? Didn't see anything on the website and I am not that far from there.

I didn't see Casablanca.

But anyways, the address is :

DeepDiscountDVD.com
900 N Rohlwing Rd
Itasca IL 60143

Rohlwing is also known as IL Rt. 53.

It's just off of the expressway 355.

Also, it appears that the DVD included in the Exorcist set is the "Version You've Never Seen Before" not the older one advertised on the back.

Did you guys catch this line:

Also, it appears that the DVD included in the Exorcist set is the "Version You've Never Seen Before" not the older one advertised on the back.
Wouldn't that indicate that this isn't genuine?

I would like The Matrix set if anyone buys extras. (My email address should be in my profile). Did they have the Citizen Kane or North by Northwest box sets on sale there?

i love these sets too. if anybody is lucky enough to snag extras of the ones i don't have yet (exorcist, dirty harry, amadeus, star is born etc) i would be very happy to compensate for your troubles on top of what you pay for the set + shipping through paypal.

I was able to get 4 extra sets fo the Excorcist. To be far I will send emails to the first 4 people that have already replied. When I left I didn't see anymore of those sets. They did have the Perfect Storm and maybe a few of the Matrix left. I'm sorry but the only thing that I could remember that folks wanted were the Exorcist.

Dude just so you know, these things are getting MONDO cash on ebay and amazon (exorcist going for > $60 easily.) I'd make absolutely sure that these people aren't just going to turn around and sell them off, taking advantage of your generosity. A post in the Used DVD Treasure hunt (exchange forum) might be a better place for these, so at least the buyers have an obligation to keep them instead of sell them off immediately (something you could do yourself, if you were so inclined. Just my .02.

Well I cannot speak for anyone else but I don't plan on selling anything. I have wanted this set for a long time and cannot wait to get it and keep it forever.

Are any of these names listed as banned in the Used DVD hunt thread?
I would hope the folks aren't going to just turn around and pawn them.

The only box movies left are the Perfect Storm. The lady said that they have about 6 left.
Since I have already offered to help out fellow DVD Talkers I will wait to hear from the folks that wanted them. If I don't then I will consider other options.
