How much did you pay, and at which store did you get it?

Picked up one from the Kirkland (Totem Lake) WA store.

They have it in stock, but they have them in the back. In my experience that store is terrible in getting newly released product on the floor.

Nice to get some love from the folks here!

I think that that was supposed to be the price point for the 1-disc version, but they just got 2-discers.

by the way, this was a blind buy on my part, and i only bought this movie just coz' of previous experience with wes anderson's flicks.

good stuff.

Just got back from my local BB and PMed CompUSA's website printout. The guy mentioned something about CompUSA charging $5 to ship it. I was ready to explain that they sell it in stores too but he was distracted by another employee and when he turned back to help me, he apparently forgot about it. (thanks for stupid BB employees with short attention spans.)

$24.99 (best buy price) - $10.00 (PM to CompUSA price) - $1.00 (10% price guarantee) = $13.99 plus tax.

thanks OP!

Thats what Im thinking too. I find RT CC for line $5 at Pawn Shops. Hell they basically want to give them to you if you buy one DVD.

I may wait, or get on this deal. I havent decided.

I did the same thing. Only thing is that I also typed in my zip code and printed out that page with the store location, phone # & statement that they had it "in-stock." They weren't gonna do the PM cuz it was a web printout but I had them call the store and the CSR's at CompUSA confirmed it for them.

I bought it at the registers first, then went to the CS desk to do the PM.

I had success at CompUSA in finding the 2 disc TLA. It took a while to find it (it was on a display at the registers), but it was had for $14.99.

thanks OP for the heads up.

The only thing that sucks is that there was a big white sticker and the price sticker right on the cardboard slip case. just glad they were easy to get off.

Thanks OP. Went to the Wilm, DE store during lunch, and didn't see any. Checked online when I got back to work, and it said in stock.
So, stopped again on my way home. Asked the front desk, and the guy was like, oh I probably have these locked up in the back, I'll get you one.

Oh well, it was worth it. Got to see one very nice pair of cut off cotton shorts, and I got the DVD.
Now, to return the one I got from Bestbuy that I paid 24.99 for.

I got one from the same store yesterday. They had about 8 left and they're by the front register. Not on the shelves. I almost gave up when I couldn't find it but saw it on my way out of the store.

Thanks to the OP.

Deja Vu.

I was just there and had the same thing happen. I checked before I left work for my lunch though and asked about it when I got there. There were none on display.

That would make it $510.06. How is that a bargain compared to $14.99?
