Bah. My Circuit City, in usual fashion, burned through their copies of 12 Monkeys in a few hours.

I imagine I'll have similar luck, but we'll see tomorrow.

My Circuit City only got in 2 copies of the Life Aquatic 2-disc, of which I got the last one. This is at least better than previous weeks, such as when they got in no copies of the Lemoney Snicket 2-disc.

Bonus Movie Ticket on-pack ($5 value) to see the remake of The Longest Yard. In theaters, 5/27/05
This is a misprint. The price is, indeed, $9.99. However, when I went to pick up the DVD, the packaging said nothing about a movie ticket, whether "Free" or "Bonus" or of any type. But it did mention a bonus preview of the remake. I asked the manager about it before I bought it, and he said the same thing I was thinking, that it was strange that the packaging didn't mention the free ticket. So he opened it, and the case contains nothing but the DVD.

Now, having said that, this is still a pretty good price for a pretty good movie, but if you're counting on some sort of free ticket inside, don't buy it. I don't know how much success you'll have returning it, opened, if you claim that the ad was wrong. You would certainly be correct, but in the world of Best Buy returns, there is a difference between "correct" and "successful".

I picked up my copy of Longest Yard at CC, and it had the $5 ticket voucher included.

The spine is actually the SE (though not a double disc size). I am sure if you went anywhere you could not get them to do it because of the size difference and the SE retails around $27.

FYI "In Good Company" is $15.99 at Sears. Lowest price I've seen.

I thought the $5.00 movie ticket was at BB, not CC for the Longest Yard?

Either it's a studio promotion or the distribution company screwed up.

I picked it up last night at Target for $16.99. They also had alot more $10 titles than in the ad....remember seeing The Clearing, First Daughter, and Redemption among them.

At my local Meijer, the Life Aquatic 2 Disc was $18.99 while the one discer was $16.99. I though it a pretty good deal considering the competition was way higher. Hopefully this will be in all their stores and its worth investigating if you have a Meijer close by.
