Hey everyone, I will try to have an update soon. I was just in a car accident, and I'm not really feeling up to the task at the moment. Sorry for any delays and inconveniences.

As someone still suffering from a car accident in 2001, PLEASE do yourself the favor of having a full-body (but concentrate on the neck and spine) MRI. Please dont think I'm joking. After major back surgery and years of physical therapy for my neck (still have diminished sensation in my right hand), you can't take this seriously enough. Even if you weren't going that fast. You have no idea, until you've been through what I have, what a car accident can do to your body.

My prayers for you,

-B

And before I forget, the reason I got on today was to see if anybody knew where I could pick up a cheap GTO vol 1 box. I thought DDD used to have it for something like $25, but I guess they sold out.

Anybody have any ideas?

Best,

They probably ran out. As far as I know, Tokyopop's stuff (or at least their box sets) tend to go OOP. I checked, and you're right--It's no longer available on DDD. It's only showing up at two places via DVD Price Search now, and the cheapest is $30.71 at DVD Planet, so if you want it, I'd grab it while you still can.

Edit: Looks like DVD Planet even lists it as discontinued. Sorry. :/

I think I've updated with everything for now.

You might try a local Borders or Waldenbooks. They usually have the GTO boxes for $40. Plus there are coupons that will knock it down even more.

15% off
Another 15% off
25% off
Another 25% off

Getting 25% is hit and miss, as some places argue that DVDs fall under electronics.

I tried ordering it already, and I got an e-mail saying basically that they wouldn't be coming back in stock, and they cancelled my order.

Great idea. I tried every borders for about 100 miles, though, and came up blank. I hate to think I missed the GTO box set 1. Any other ideas, guys? Input is very appreciated.

My only other advice would be to try yourself B&M elsewhere or eBay. I just don't know what price ranges you'll run into via those routes. I guess, in the future, just remember that Tokyopop's box set stuff tends to go OOP (or at least it appears that way to me).
