fyi....it is not a sale...it is a coupon in the flyer...so i believe you only can purchase one season per coupon....

runner001 05-01-05 07:10 PM

ahh, so it's probably a B&M only sale then. oh well.

It's at the back of the General Merchandise flyer.

Unless you absolutely have to have the DVDs right now, or live in a sale tax-free state, every title you could get would still be cheaper at DDD with their next 20% sale. Then again, that can probably be said about every price.

Well, Fred Meyer is based out of Oregon, a sales tax free state.

Thanks for posting!

I probably shouldn't speak for cheapskate, but posting "The DDD 20% off sale will have a better deal," is not so different from posting "Yeah, well, you can get it for $6 at Columbia House."

In other words, it is a threadcrap that only states the obvious.

I was actually thanking the original poster for the deal! SFranke can speak on my behalf anytime though - because he's right. What was the point of saying you could get it cheaper at DDD's non-exisitant-at-the-moment-sale? :p

I live 4 blocks from the original Fred Meyer store in Portland, and within walking distance of about 7 other stores, but I think I'll skip this because I'll get a better deal if I wait for the time when I happen to be walking buy a warehouse fire and DVDs are laying all over the road and can be scooped up for free.

Almost a good deal though, thanks.
