This is the best news I've heard today. I LOVE this sale. If anyone out there knows what will be out, that would be great... I'm hoping "Alfie" and/or "Closer".

I popped in at my local one last week and saw Finding Neverland and Flight of the Pheonix. They sure had quite a few copies of Catwoman kicking around too.

Hoping for 4 of the following:

Sideways
Finding Neverland
Closer
Spanglish
Bad Education

Looks like Spanglish and Sideways won't be out, though...and I doubt Closer will be either. The odds of a rather commercial chain like Movie Gallery having Bad Education, well, aren't too favorable. So, it looks like I'll probably end up getting Finding Neverland along with 3 movies I don't particularly want...and that's why I hate these sales. If I do get movies I want, I'll end up doing something I've been trying to avoid for weeks: picking up the 1-disc Huckabees, or The Incredibles without a slipcover. Damn me for being so anal.

Scoped out my local Movie Gallery and asked about the sale. Yup, tomorrow is the day.

Didn't see Closer, Finding Neverland, Alife or the like at all.

I'll be getting:

Final Cut
Napolean Dynamite
King Arthur (DC)
Vlad

If you're heading out tomorrow, shouldn't you just buy them instead of hiding them? The sale starts on the 22nd, and your post was on the 21st..

Ran by one of my local MG's this morning, and the selection was not the greatest. As always, I find a couple titles I want, and have to scrounge for the other two, because it's such a good deal! Here's my find:

Dead Birds (the only one I knew I wanted)
Cube Zero
Friday Night Lights
High Roller: The Stu Unger Story (I'm such a sucker for gambling movies)

I know some people were wondering if Alfie & Closer were out. I saw Alfie, but no Closer. Also didn't spot any Finding Neverlands.

I went as well. I saw Alfie, but no Closer. Sideways and Spanglish don't hit the Previously Viewed shelf until May sometime (I asked)

My Haul:

King Arthur (DC)
Napolean Dynamite
Final Cut
Vlad
A Mighty Wind
Gothika
Matchstick Men
Cabin Fever

Everytime I buy something from one of these places it looks like someone was trying to sand wood with the disc. What do renters do to these things?

All $14.99, I got,

Dead Birds
Incredibles (gift because they had full screen only)
Ladder 49
Shaun of the Dead

They are holding Madhouse for me until Monday, because I couldn't find 3 more.
They had Alfie here, but everyone who worked there told me it was bad and I should rent it first. They also had finding neverland, being julia and fat albert. They aren't pulling Final cut until next week here. That is about all the new ones I seen here.

The book has these down as 9.99 titles.
Mean Girls, Envy, Man on Fire, Punisher, Walking Tall, Scooby doo 2, Supersize me, Soul Plane. Spanglish on 5/2, Oceans 12 on 5/9, and Lemony Snickets on 5/23.
