I was hoping to do a Roswell S3 preorder too & haven't placed my order yet. I believe that earlier in the thread someone mentioned that some preorder titles would work with the coupon. However, earlier I was screwing around on their site & I came across Remington Steele for preorder. I put it in my cart, but while everything else in the cart becomes 50% off, the preorder for that title didn't. So I'm wondering if Roswell S3 is added as a preorder to the site if the 50% off would apply to it.

I just checked TvShowsOnDVD.com to see when Roswell S3 was slated to come out. They had originally stated June 7th, but now there's an update that says Fox jumped the gun and posted incorrect information on their site regarding this release. It's not coming on the date posted above. So I wonder when the new release date will be.

By The Way - I just went back & checked & you can in fact add the pre-order as your free title. That's probably what someone had already wrote & I got it mixed up.

When I emailed that address two days ago I got this response
The FoxStore.com BLOWOUT sale will work only for customers who received
an invite. Unfortunately, your email does not qualify to be authorized
to participate in this sale. We apologize for any inconvenience that
this may have caused you.
so I don't know what Ravenous is doing differently.

My order arrived today, I picked the 2 day UPS for 6 something.

Anyways my Xmen set as soon as I picked it up I could hear discs rattling around so I shot off an email without even looking at it.

However, I opened my Alien set and four of the discs were lose and scratched up a bit, I'm going to check them out before requesting a new set since its already opened.

So check those digipacks.

Im not going to say what I said in the email. It would be weird if they got the same kinda stuff they already heard from someone. Just use adult words and dont be afraid to stir the shit.

And yes I used this address:

Whoa, and here I thought I was the only one who didn't order enough for the free $75 dvd! I only ordered ILC #3, That 70's Show #2, and Simpsons: Bart Wars. Came out to under $46 - works for me.

I think they fixed the $200 glitch. I had $200 worth of dvd's and then chose the alien set as my free set. Then I entered the code and tried checking out but i kept getting an error. Anyone experience the same?

My Rejection letter:

Hello,

We are truly sorry to cause any misunderstanding this was not our intent. We simply wanted to reward our loyal customers who have bought from us before and unfortunately you are not one of them. Also, the only people who were notified or invited for this sale were our loyal customers and not the entire general public. We hope this answers your concerns and hope you will be part of our loyal club in the near future. We appreciate our loyal customers and we intend to continue to reward them.

Best Regards,

Pretty much they are rewarding either:

A)people who have bought in the past from foxstore..

or

B)people who signed up before?

The response from Fox is reasonable and fair. As much as I'd love to take part and order the next wave of film noir titles, them's the breaks. I never used them before, and it would probably be rare that I'd use them in the future for regular purchasing, so I can't say I'm entitled to anything.

Tried four different times (with increasingly imaginative stories) with no, repeat no success.

Best luck,

as you can see from their response to me, I tried using everything I could to get a positive reply.

I went on about how much of a loyal customer I have been to Fox products.

I also tried a few times, including mentioning the fact that I already have an account open with them that I have ordered from in the past. They kicked me to the curb anyway. No dice. Na-da. Zilch.

That was something discussed in the main forum, as a theft deterrent at stores where people have put different DVD's under the slipcover.

Very strange way to stop theft, destroy the product.
