How much will Bambi SE be at Blockbuster, because they have the $5 credit per DVD

It's a good trade in deal, but is Bambi SE going to be $19.99 or do they PM stores like Best Buy, Target, Walmart?

Dabaomb 03-01-05 12:26 AM

my guess is $21.99 but they may have it for $19.99

RevKarl 03-01-05 02:39 AM

... and they briefly did price-matching, but stopped months ago.

Actually, a lot of titles in the same price range have been $19.99 for the first week, then go to $21.99, so I'm hoping that's the case with <i>Bambi</i> - still have too much $$ in credit to burn off.

are they having a 7 freerental deal when you buy at $29.99 at any blockbuster. Not in mine.

My local Blockbuster is selling it for $23.99. No wonder they never sell any dvds.

I saw it for $22.99 at a local BBV store. I was tempted to use one of my giftcards I got from the earlier DVD trade in deal but not at that price.

BB stopped price-matching a long time ago. At one BB, the price tag they had on Aladdin was $29.99!!!

I used some of my store credit to by The Fifth Element: Ultimate Edition. The cashier said he was wondering how quickly that title was going to be bought. I was tempted to say, "It would've been bought a whole lot sooner if it was $5 cheaper like it is at every other store."

Of course, I saw the regular edition of Ray being sold for $29.99 at Suncoast, so I wonder how the hell they ever sell any titles.

Suncoast is a mall store where the average person shops for convenience not price.

Most ppl who buy DVDs buy 1-2 a month so they often don't go out seeking sale prices and are willing to pay full MSRP.

and more than likely they just had not attatched the sale price tag...everything is tagged at msrp and yellow tags give the sale price
