How to search for good 24 all seasons (DVD) deals

I am looking to purchase every season of 24 available on dvd. Unfortunately, '24' is too short to search through the dvd bargains on this site. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks

Best Buy has all some Fox first season box sets for 50% off. At least they did last week. I bought 24 Season One for $25. I really have to answer for the 24 search thing.

Season 1 is the cheapest of the set. You'll get it for 24.99 at where ever the 50% first season sale is going on at (last I remember it was the good guys). Season 2 and 3 aren't going to be that easy to get a whole lot cheaper on.

Yeah, the 2nd and 3rd seasons are still running at about $50 each, I'd say because they're in 5.1 and they have more extras than the first season.

Amazon has a set of Seasons 1-3 for $120 shipped. Saves a few bucks over going to one place to get S1 for $25 and $50 each for the others.

Not much though.

Check amazon.com merchants every now and then. I got Season 3 for $39... it was described as used but arrived in mint condition. I don't think it had ever been viewed. Great deal.

For TV shows, if you can find an imported dvd set from ebay it is usually same quality and a ton less expensive. I bought From Earth to the Moon set and the only difference is some oriental titles printed on the disc and the packaging is way different, but quality is the same and there are no foreign audio tracks or titles on screen.

I guess the studios just sell this stuff for a lot cheaper overseas.

Some or most of these are bootlegs. The reason they are so much cheaper is because more often than not the studio isn't the one pressing and selling them overseas, some rogue factory is. The easiest and cheapest way to get these (in my opinion) is to buy the first season at 50% off wherever you can, then either hit up ebay for used sets and find the occasional killer deal, or wait until the next DDD sale and get seasons 2 and 3 at 20% off.

I'm not paying any bootleggers or rogue dvd makers my money for a bootsie copy of a dvd or set. I would rather pay an extra few bucks for the real deal.
