Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - San Diego, Sacramento, Austin, Houston, NV, AZ, OR, IL, GA), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. We have noticed that the Dallas Morning News and SJ Mercury News often run very similar ads. Also, the Chicago ads are often similar to the Seattle ads. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

Even though I'd love to get Bard's Tale for that price, I've been to one Fry's Day After Christmas Sale.

Once... and never again. It was a zoo and a half. Complete craziness. Good thing they don't have more DVDs on sale, otherwise I might psyche myself out to go very early.

I'd been to one of the Day After Christmas sales at Fry's before and it was an absolute nightmare.

That being said, I just couldn't pass up the prices on Seinfeld Season 3 and the Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, so I crawled out of bed around 9:00 and prepared for the worst.

What a pleasant surprise I had when I got to Fry's and saw that not only was it not very busy at all, but they had both of the items I wanted sitting on the shelves waiting for my dirty, not-yet-showered hands to snatch them up and take them home.

I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, which includes parking, browsing, and standing in the check out line. I guess I saved anywhere from $30-40, so I figure that the trip was well worth the very minimal amount of hassle that I had to deal with.

Thanks fidodido for the heads-up. I wouldn't have even considered going there had I not seen your post.

Fry's B&M and outpost.com often do the have the same sale or prices, even Fry's owns outpost.
