Thanks, I try. The board has just gotten so big that it is tough posting stuff you know will probably kill a deal. DVD Planet usually honors misprices, I have never had them not honor one. So I took a shot. Maybe we get them maybe we don't - thats the misprice rule and everyone should know it when they place the order. I hate it when people whine about missing a deal or one being cancelled.

Past misprices I remember getting that were posted. Fox Martial Arts Collection ($14.99), Laughing Out Load Box Set ($6.99), Ninja vs. Ninja ($0.00) - Also Beatie Boys CC for 13.49 and Henery V CC 17.98 but I think they were special sales.

The Wolfgang Petersen set is now $38.21, so they obviously realized the mistake. I wouldn't be surprised if some of you get cancellation emails...

Has anyone received their order yet? The 3 boxsets I ordered are still listed as ' Out of Stock' in my order history profile. Is it safe to assume that DVD PLANET will not be honoring these price errors?

Nothing here. Mine say out of stock, but they show as in stock I think on the website. I am just sitting on it. If they come, cool. If not, oh well.

Anyone want to be a guinea pig and try ordering a set at the regular price and see if it ships? :D

I called and asked them, and they told me that my order would ship out on 1/11/05.

I have officially been charged a total of $26.39 for the following two box sets:

-Sony Pictures Classics 10th Anniversary 4-Pack #1
-Wolfgang Petersen Collection 4-Pack

I then called DVDPlanet to confirm this, and they told me that both of these sets are now in stock, boxed up, getting ready to ship to me.

In The Line Of Fire in this boxset is not the SE. Almost sure of this. At least you get the neat faux signed covers and Perfect Storm in a keepcase.

Apologize if I'm wrong - I know there was a 3 disc boxset at one time that may be the one I'm thinking of.

I only ordered the Wolfgang Petersen set, and got an email stating that it had been shipped and I would be charged the price of $11.21. Neat.

Because DDD and DVDPlanet are owned by the same company, so they probably use the same call center.

Huh, I never noticed that. They used to be Ken Crane's then DVDPlanet - I guess at somepoint they combined forces with DDD much as digitaleyes.net did.

I just got the email about my Wolfgang set shipping out today. I was told that the other one I bought, Sony Classics, should ship tomorrow or so.

Well, it's not the SE version. I know some will not be pleased, but I already own the SE, so it's not that big of a deal to me. I just wish that my SE had a cover/spine that would match the others in this set.

I received the Wolfgang Peterson set today, and it looks like it has been tumbling around in the trunk of someone's car for the past few years. But for $11, I won't complain. It's nice to have The Perfect Storm in keepcase.
