In my small town, because the local paper doesn't publish on Sunday or holidays, the Target ad is included in the previous days edition. I don't see a post on this, so I assume no one has seen Target's November 26-27 flyer.

On November 26 & 27, Target will have the following dvd box sets for sale:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 7
Dawson's Creek, Season 4
Family Guy, Volume 1
The Simpsons, Season 4
South Park, Season 1, 2

The ad says Your Choice $17.77.

So, some pretty darn decent prices, I think, but not a huge selection.

Evit, pricemaching during Black friday is hit or miss. So stores do, some do not.

Awesome prices. I would like to get southparks and dawson. But i don't feel like fighting the crowds. But with a 2 day sale, maybe they will be loaded with copies

i dont think south park season 3 is included. i saw a scan earlier and it just said 1 & 2

I think it's just Buffy Season 7. It says (6 DVDS) next to it as far as i can see in the scan. Same mistake as the Southpark one.

Don't feel like fighting crowds so I'll just go hide copies of all three SP seasons (and perhaps a Dawson for my sister) behind the sleeping bags or something. I've done this before and it seems to work just fine. (Although I plan on being at some store at 5am just so I can smoke in line and piss off all the suburban housewives, heh. >=]

Price Match at target? They don't do price matching during the Black Friday hours...Meaning if you wanted to buy Buffy today and get it price matched on Friday, you can't. Its only on sales, not 'special events'.

I have most of them but I'm gonna rebuy them for gifts. It's great getting stuff for $17.77 and your friends/relatives think that you paid $40+ for them

Just don't give them a gift receipt cuz if they do return it at Target then you look like a moron for giving them a $17.77 gift.

The one near me never has more than 5-10 of a TV series, even new releases. So i'm hoping my Walmart will pricematch.

I got Buffy through DDDs latest sale, but if I can snag a copy on Friday, then I'll just cancel it or send it back. Save at least 10 bucks in the process.

I wonder if Circuit City will pm Buffy S7, if so, someone could get it for $14.95 with the extra 10% of the price difference. I already have all 7 seasons, but it would be cool if someone could get that pm.

Does the ad say anything about rainchecks? I know that these will sell out fast and Target will allow you to substitute a similar item for the same % discount of the raincheck. It must be a good 55% off most of these box sets. I would be pumped if I could get 24 Season 3 or Star Trek Season 3 for an additional 55% off with a raincheck.
