Thanks to everyone for the replies regarding the raincheck issue. If I can get an extra 61% off of the upcoming 24 and Star Trek sets, I'll be one happy camper.

i usedto work at target beginning of the year and we didnt do pricematch. When i worked there and asked they said they stopped doing it a while back. As for the dvd quantity for box sets my store had 2 dvd towers, with 4 sides. There was a maximum of 4 copies of each box set in the electronics stock room. So i expect them to sell out real quick.

I just got Simpsons S4, Family Guy S1&2, Buffy S7 and South Park S1 & 2 this morning, from the Queens Target. Buffy S7 was nearly sold out when I got there--the clerk had to go to the back and bring out the remaining 4 sets left (unless there were unopened boxes packed away somewhere). Not too surprising.

My Target had tons of everything. Atleast 16 Buffys, 30 or so Family Guys, 8 of each South Park...etc.
So all I picked up was Buffy and a box of Trojans (For tonight, not for Buffy....I swear!)

In at 6:10 out at 6:30. Picked up Buffy Season 7, Southpark Season 1 and 2 (2 copies of season 2 1 is a gift) and Simpsons Season 4. Also picked up several of the Trivial Pursuit 90's editions as gifts.
Great experience at Target.

Around 50 people in line at 6:00 AM - Got there about 5:50 and sprinted to the electronics dept along with most everyone else.
People getting carts lost their head start
Grabbed a Buffy for myself and watched the crowd to see what they were going for.
Most people were snatching Aladdin or the South Park and Buffy season sets.
These won't last the morning..........
Lots of congestion in the videogame area as well but it was too crowded for me to see what the excitement was all about.

Mine had plenty of everything (Buffy, FG, Simpsons) and absolutely none of South Park...which is what I was there for. All I saw was one Season 2 set. I was only looking for season 3.
I would have thought Buffy would have been getting the most attention, but they had about 20 of those left when I got the hell out of there. Oh well.

I picked up South Park Season 2 at 6am. Lines around the building though. I waited for the lines to subside before I went in. No cart is the way to go because the sea of carts jammed each other up. Candyland for $3.88 seemed to be a big item. Some people yelled at a lady for buying up the last 12 of them!

Glad to hear they had plenty of stock. I was worried, so I went to Walmart and pricematched season 7.

Also went to Target to pick up Buffy S7. There were 3 left. I think they only had 6 to 8 to start off with. Couldn't resist The Family Guy so I picked up that too. Then as I'm leaving some soccer mom comes booking around the corner and something from her cart flew off and hit me. I think it was a weight set or something cause it was heavy and stung a bit. That's my only horror story.

Everything in stock at the Houston Main street location at 10am. Plenty of copies of Simpsons, SP and FG. As far as the vast throngs... I actually had several cashiers ask if I were ready to check out as I passed by! That's a first.

I lucked out...ha ha I didn't read the thread update that the sale didn't include Season 3 of South Park, so I brought all 3 seasons to the checkout. When Season 3 rang up at 39.99, I said,"Oh I thought this was also on sale" and pulled out the ad. The clerk looked at the ad, called the manager over, he looked at the ad, and waved it through.

I slept in and waltzed in to the Federal Way, WA target at aroung 9:45, walked to the DVD section and picked up Family Guy vol 1. There were still at least 10 copies of Family Guy, 1 copy of South Park S1 and about 3 of S2. I stood around and watched to see if any one was going for these items and I didn't see anyone pick up any copies.
