Fry's Ads 11/10-11
Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.
The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - San Diego, Sacramento, Austin, Houston, NV, AZ, OR, IL, GA), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. We have noticed that the Dallas Morning News and SJ Mercury News often run very similar ads. Also, the Chicago ads are often similar to the Seattle ads. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them. If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know. Unless otherwise indicated, items below are listed in all four (DFW, LA, SJ, and WA) ads. Ad updates: DFW, LA, WA: Fri-Mon, Weds SJ: Everyday DVDs $14.99 (SJ only) (11/11) Ju-On $27.99 Friends: Season 8 $44.99 (SJ only) The L Word: Season 1 $89.99 Star Trek: Voyager: The Complete Fifth Season GameCube $49.99 (SJ only) The Urbz (Avail. Thursday update for SJ:
$14.99: Ju-On $29.99 (PS2/XBox): Madden NFL 2005 |
Figures. We finally get a Fry's in Georgia and they cut off the good deals.
Oh well. I did get Paper Mario there for $38, so maybe they'll come through again. |
This is fairly typical behavior for Fry's.
Last year, in the weeks leading up to the Black Friday sale and for most of the weeks until Christmas, most of the ads didn't even contain sale prices, just "Everyday Low Prices." Their way of posting an ad with nothing worthwhile. But on Black Friday...look out. |
Hehe i love how they put sale/everyday low prices in store so you think its on sale and it has the same price on the DVD or wahtever it is. I always look for those yellow tags since it shows things on sale... yeah right.
