Best Buy Preferred (Angel) Customer Weekend 11/12-15/04

Just got the latest coupons in the mail. I received the following:

10% off or 12% off (if you're a Reward Zone member or when you use your Best Buy credit card) any single item in entertainment, computer products or appliances.

10% off all regularly priced computer software $19.99 & up, and all regularly priced music, movies & video game software. Any combination, limit 5.

10% off TVs & home theater systems $299 & up DVD players & recorders $199 & up. Limit 1.

Guess I was an "Angel" for receiving the coupons or else our store hasn't enacted the new policy.

Can you use the 10% off DVD coupon with the 20% off Madden Coupon?

Just Curious?

NOT ALLOWED!

Best Buy wouldn't tolerate this because they wouldn't eat the loss.

Sorry Dude.

I haven't gotten BB coupons in the mail for a couple of years now.

Is it because I never bothered using them, or because I haven't used my BB charge card in something like five years?

Does that make me a devil?

I got my packet yesterday. Did you notice the guy on the front with stains on his shirt and his face pressed up against the glass? I guess this idiot is their ideal customer.

"Wow! You're selling it at MSRP?! That's a great deal!"

10% doesn't really blow up my skirt. And some of the other coupons are just pathetic. "Buy two ink cartridges and get 25% off the third!" Oooooooooooooooooooooohhhh!!! I'm SO there!

Anyone try a 10% off coupon on a PM? I'd like to PM GWTW from Target (24.99 - 10% = 22.50. Pathetic, I know)

I don't think I ever used the ones they mail me. I also don't have a BB charge card. Still not even sure how I got on the list but I got them again.

I might use the 10% off coupon, if my reward zone certificates arrive in time.

Yeah, I'm a devil.

Does anyone know if I can take a receipt in for stuff I bought yesterday and use the 10% off coupon? I'd hate to have to box it all back up and return it and then rebuy it with the 10% off. For me 10% would be pretty decent since I just bought a $70 wireless router. That's $7. Not too shabby.

I haven't gotten any of the preferred member coupons in the past couple years, but I got these coupons almost a week ago.

Guess I'm an Angel now.

Perfect timing too because I just ran out of black ink, so I'll go tomorrow and get my 12% off.

Look out, if you use the coupons, you'll turn into a Devil.
Catch-22.

I've gotten these in the past, even though I no longer have a BB credit card. I am a RZ sucker, however.

danicus007: You could buy a new one with the coupon, then return that boxed/brand new item with your old receipt at full price.

That's a good idea. Thanks dtcarson. However, I'd hate to lose my wings! I don't want to be a devil and make an unopened return....less be subjected to a 15% restocking fee

I would think if you were a preferred customer you would get a much better discount or at least 10% off any dvd no matter the price. I am really giving up on BB.

Same here. All this talk about wanting "angel" customers is non-sense. Show me one retail shop that does not want all "angel" customers. I got my coupons in the mail the other day. Currently they are sitting safe and sound in the city dump. At their present rate I can easily see BB begging all their Devil customers back in 2 to 3 years. BTW, if they dont want "devil" customers, why don't BB drop its weekly ad? BB sets their prices and rebates not the consumer who takes advantage of it.

If BB is not careful with their PR and lack of friendly customer service, they will be in the same boat as Toys R Us. Walmart has the potential to destroy BB or any other speciality chain store (superior buying power). BB needs to be consience of their customer base (I think we as Dvdtalker were or are BB's customer base). Sorry, just had to vent! I miss what used to be an enjoyable store to shop!

I don't think there is a restocking fee for returning a wireless router, even if it's opened.

Anyone have a link to the coupons I have seen them posted in the past just wondering if there is one up. Thanks!
