Almost Annual DDD Sale?
I am holding off purchases in hopes that DDD has their annual sale. About when is it usually announced??
BTW, I would have searched for it instead of posting it but the search engine will not allow "DDD" as a keyword... and nobody writes out DDDs full name!
Thanks, Lar

Last year's sale started on Nov. 26 and ran through Dec. 5. There's no way of telling what they'll be doing this year, or when, or if they'll have a sale at all. Check this thread for more info. (I still think there should be a sticky on this.)

If there is no thread or other indication of a current DDD sale, it means we're all too busy placing orders, during the secret but perpetual sale code test period, to post about it!

Thanks Seymouru!
I won't be able to monitor the DVD Bargain Forum very consistently in Nov and it is a help to know about when (if at all) the sale usually is. Yeah, yeah, but not every year. Jeez.

Checking these boards (as well as other forums) are the only way of knowing.
You have to have a code to get the 20% discount. They just don't automatically give it to you.

I'll be checking here daily as I saved about 50 titles out of 500 in Hurricane Charley. Replaced about 50 more (mostly older bargain bin ones from BB, CC, Wal Mart & Target's 2 for $20 type sales). Still have about 400 titles to replace though some I'll now be getting SEs & box sets but even if it's 300 titles (with an average of 2 discs per title due to things like Alien Quadrilogy & other multi disc but single title) that'd translate to one hellatious order from DDD if & when a 20% Coupon is listed this holiday season.

I remember last year or the year before, there were quite a few codes around, made obvious once they were all collected in one place (this forum) by its enthusiastic and proud, if not occasionally moody, conspirators.
As for Relentless....
More appropriate and I just saved you $4!
Thanks for the banter and info! I'll do my best to inadvertently rile up the restless in the near future, not that it takes much!

Not true! If you're on the DDD e-mail list, they also send you a notice and a coupon to use.
On another note; how does something happening once make it annual? I almost wish DDD doesn't do a sale just so next year we don't have these waste of time threads.
