Picked up Clerks for 19.99 at Best Buy. Wasn't going to get anything else but the 5 dollar coupon convinced me to get Jersey Girl as well. And then for good measure i figured i needed some action and got Punisher too. Whoops.

Sucks.
Went out to the stores and they are all screwed up from Frances passing through . Circuit City doesnt have the new releases and Target has them but the guy said he was 4 days behind since the store closed last friday . Trying to get some entertainment for me and the kids and the Hurricane has it all dicked up .
BTW , I checked BJ's for the new Disney movies for my daughter and Ella Enchanted was somewhere around 17.99 and Jersey Girl was 18.49 .

Cool. Could you tell us what the Music DVD sampler is, such as the title, studio label and also the part of the store in which it was located? My local Best Buys have moved all of the music-related DVDs by the CD section. I would think most other locations would be doing the same because I read a business article about Best Buy reconfiguring the shelves to that effect recently.

I found it in the CD aisle where they put the new music releases -- it's like 5 rows of new/recent CDs with a row of DVDs across the top. The DVD had a $0.01 price tag on it and said that you had to buy a music DVD to get it, but nobody seemed to care. As I'm at work and don't have it here, the title escapes me.

Has 4 songs on it. All 4 are concert footage.
Judas Priest "Out in the Cold"
Jim Croce "Operator"
Stevie Ray Vaughn "Pride & Joy"
Doobie Brothers "What a Fool Believes"

It just counts as one. I used the coupon without a problem.

Was anyone able to buy Clerks for $19.99 on Wednesday?

A couple of months ago, Best Buy had an unadvertised sale price on the 3-disc Mystic River, but it was a Tuesday only deal.

I have two Best Buys in my area and neither got a single copy of Clerks (or so they claim). They also didnt get the Hitchcock box set.

Answering my own question, Clerks is $19.99 for the entire week. There were none on the shelves today [Colo. Blvd., Denver], so I asked about the next shipment and it turns out that they had a box of 20 that just came in this afternoon. YMMV, of course.
