So far that is the best price for the Lion King II. Anyone find a cheaper price? I was hoping it would be around $14.99 somewhere.

$15.99 is a GREAT price for it.

Best Buy and Circuit City no longer price new releases at $14.99 (new low price is $15.99). Target will occassionally price movies at $14.99 (only one i can remember is LOTR-ROTK). Since then, only Circuit City has listed The Passion at $14.99. A $14.99 new release is definitely the exception, not the norm.

My local Sears in Gurnee, IL had both in. I picked up Lion King II and at the register it rang up $19.99. I told the clerk is should be $15.99 as advertised in the flier and I wanted the $5 price guarantee adjustment. He claimed since I didn't PAY yet, I couldn't get the adjustment. I simply called for a manager and got the adjustment like I should have (their policy says NOTHING about paying first).

Bottom line - Lion King II for $10.99!

I have never heard about the $5 adjustment. Is it something new? Where can I find this policy? If it is just a regular price guarantee policy, then I don't understand how you got $10.99 price...

the Sears in Queens didn't have one until recently. I think it's a new thing at Sears and it's worth looking at.

I think Sears is starting to throw their hat in the ring regarding DVD's. I picked up LKII a couple days ago - thanks to the OP! A friend tod me that they had Kill Bill Vol. 2 for 15.99 during it's release week but I can't confirm this.

The policy is posted by every register at my Sears. The policy has three tiers. I think for items priced under $5, you get it free for an error. Between $5 and $100, you get $5 off. I don't recall the upper tier. The policy includes correct pricing on sale items.

As for my purchase, as soon as I saw the wrong price ring up, I read the policy. I get the price corrected to the ad price of $15.99 AND get a $5 credit from the policy.
