I thought I start a thread on this title since the release is coming up on Nov 9 2004.

Here are the specs (from Digital Bits):
The 4-disc set will include some 5 hours of old and new documentaries, interviews and other bonus features. The film has been restored with Warner's "Ultra-Resolution" process and the film has been spread over 2 dual-layered discs. Audio will be available in the original mono and a new Dolby Digital 5.1

DVDSoon doesn't even come close at $32.17 American.

I would love to get this title for less than $25 but Amazon may be the best bet with the free ship. I'm not going to pull the trigger just yet but post any good or better deals.

You could always pre-order with Amazon and just wait and see what the deals are. That's what I do, they don't charge your card till they ready to ship.

That will probably be included on the Ultimate Extreme Edition coming out next year.

The release date is probably 11/9 per DVD Talk. Amazon very likely has a typo on their site (where I originally got the info).

Just a heads up for everyone ordering through DVD Import, I asked DVD Import whether or not it's going to have a French cover they said it'll be the American one.

You might want to check your local blockbuster's dvd set glass case. I just got mine for $29.99 (a week or so early, but worth it). I am going to see if there is a B&M price that substantially beats it before I open it.

I'm wondering by putting some real info in this thread such as prices and release info will be OK in the new guidelines. I have bought many titles this way by simply seeing what other people post in the Best Deal threads. The search engines don't find all the good deals out there.

I agree by just asking the question "who knows of any good deals on XYZ title" is a waste of time. There needs to be a real post of price info on the title in question.

Maybe a ruling can be made by the Moderator if the structure of this thread is acceptable.

Note: I wouldn't have known about this deal if there wasn't a reply in this thread.

FYI this type of response is rather counter productive. Personally I believe members prefer these type of topics, especially when actual prices are listed. Or, are all of us supposed to search individually for the same information
