Thanks for the list. Was the Lost Boys SE on sale somewhere this week?

fumanstan 08-12-04 12:41 AM

Artman 08-12-04 01:19 AM

You know, for that price, I may just pick it up.

This can't be right. I'm so confused. I checked about 10 of the titles, and none of them reflect what I'm seeing here. :(

Can you cite some examples?

Surely!

Kill Bill Vol. 2
Cheers - 3-Season Pack 12-Disc Set
The Lost Boys 2-Disc Special Edition
Predator 2-Disc Collector's Edition; Widescreen
Frasier - The Complete First Season 4-Disc Set
Good Times - The Complete Third Season
Reservoir Dogs 10th Anniversary Edition - Generic Cover

I can keep going if you like. All mine show up as the original listed price.

Unless I am totally reading this all wrong. Does the change mean that's what was taken off to make it the PRICE that is listed there? Sorry, I'm still way confused.

Correct. The price column is what price it is currently. The change column is the amount the price changed from what it was previously.

Thanks cupon for the list. How did you format it seemingly so easy?

I had the raw text list, spent a few minutes with TextPad using some search & replace regular expressions and I had a generic table built.

Sorry for the confusion. I haven't slept in a long time.

I'll finally pick up A Simple Plan now. Thanks. Temped on Cheers S1 as well...

Deadman31 08-12-04 01:18 PM

This would rule if the second column was the new prices, <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_101.gif' border=0></a>

For a moment I too thought the second column was the new prices. I figured "here we go again with more wacky misprices!"

Forgive my ignorance, but what is Sensormatic?

Just ignore that part. It is the type of security sensor used onm the DVD (for internal store purchasing). Nothing that a consumer needs to worry about.

PopcornTreeCt 08-13-04 12:51 AM

The Conversation - finally at a decent price!!

Yep...except I doubt that DDD could make much profit selling DVD's at 71 cents with free shipping!

Guess we'll have to be patient for the next DDD sale to get further discounts.

Oh good. I thought I was going to have to upgrade my player AGAIN. Back in the mid 70's they had a thing called "Sensurround" that was basically a large subwoofer that would rattle your bones at certain frequencies. I remember "Earthquake", "Midway" and "RollerCoaster" were released with this feature. It fell by the wayside when THX and Dolby came on the scene. When I saw "SensorMatic" I had a 70's flashback and thought it was a new kind of Sound thing.

By the way, thanks cupon for the original list.

Myster X 08-14-04 12:45 PM

man, I don't know if I can resist Barbarella at this price. :hump::hump:
