DDD - Dead zone rebate.
 

I just got my season 1-2 from ddd today and I noticed there is a $10 rebate. Wow if this deal wasn't good enough.

Anyway the rebate says.

Enclose the original proof-of-purchase tabs found on the back of the video package.

Are they talking about the barcode? If so I'm not sure I want to deface my DVD's for $10.

Also on a side note did season 1 come with a slip cover?

It is the same design as season2 but I didn't get a slip cover.

Thanks for the info/links. I did a search, but didn't find anything... Must be that short between brain and keyboard again. I got to get that fixed.

Wow, $10 is nice, but I'm not cutting the boxes up for it.

I made photocopies of the UPCs onto some posterboard paper and sent them in as the proof of purchase. My rebate is listed as "Qualified" on www.expressgroup.com.

Usually the proof of purchase tags are cardboard tags in an inside sleeve that you tear off.

Usually yes. But not in this case. It's hard to believe they really want you to cut up your boxes (season one doesn't even have an outer case, so you're cutting up the actual cardboard thing that holds the DVDs).

For season 1, I was going to send in the security sticker that was located at the top of the case since that has a UPC bar code. Season 2 doesn't have this, so I'll probably try a photocopy. If I don't get the rebate, that's cool. I'm not willing to cut up the cases. Strange that I don't mind doing this for my video game rebates but I don't want to do it for my movies.

For those who've sent the rebate in, I got mine in 30 days.

I got my rebate the other day as well. :up:

Oh, I got an email saying mine was accepted, I did not send any upc labels. I sent the sticker off season one and a print out of a digital picture of both my seasons setting on top of my hadwritten letter.

I am bumping this up.
Due to the DDD 20 percent sale.
I noticed several people ordering the set(s)
Plus for anyone who has not sent their rebate
requests in yet.....

I just received my box sets from DDD but season two did not have a rebate form even though it had a sticker on the outside cover, does anyone have a copy of it or the information I need for the rebate?

I'll scan it tomorrow and email it if you want to send me your email address.

I also ordered this during the DDD sale.... what's the expiration date?
