You can send a check and mail-order the titles or order online (but there is a surcharge for that and it's on a separate site).

To mail-order

Go to this site:

http://www.edwardrhamilton.com/search.html

Enter 'DVDs' in the search for box and select search in descriptions. You'll pull up about thirty titles (including some books, which may include bonus DVD's), including the ones listed above. Click each one you want for details and click on add to order form. When you've finished, you can print up an order form that you SNAIL MAIL with your check, plus $3.50 shipping.

To order online

Go to this site:

http://www.hamiltonbook.com/Discount...emplate/6.html

And follow the same instructions for searching as above (pages on this site load slower). On this site, you can pay by credit card, but you'll be charged $3.50 shipping, plus 40 cents for each title.

Hamilton does have other DVD's available (search 'DVD' in descriptions). Again, some titles are books, which might include bonus DVD's.

You can also obtain a list of DVDs at hamiltonbook.com on the Search page by using the drop-down menu in "Binding/Media" and selecting DVD. As noted above, you can search the word 'DVD' and 'DVDs' in descriptions and also come up with DVD's which are offered as bonuses with book titles.

Sorry if this sounds too much like a commercial, but I did a search and couldn't find any mention of Edward Hamilton in Bargains, so I figure it might be a new experience for many.

Thanks

Thanks Digidoh for this post. I've ordered from Edward R. Hamilton in the past and they've been a pleasure to deal with and I don't think you'll find better prices for the sets that you've listed, "Terrahawks" in particular.

For fans of 1950s TV, they have a few collections of comedy shows and detectives. What's interesting about these releases is that they also include a radio show as well so that you can see and hear how the transition was made from radio to television during TV's early years. They also have a DVD set of Kenneth Branagh's TV film of "Shackleton" that's selling for $9.95.

OMG HAMILTON IS GREAT! I can't tell you how many hardcover 1sts I've gotten from them with no remainder marks, tight & pristine for peanuts. And if you're into books, you'll drool over their newsprint catalogs. Perfect bubble bath reading LOL.

THE SAINT was the only thing I ever liked Moore in. I always thought he was too serious to play Bond.

Btw . . . you can get the entire series (14 DVD's!!) for 95.98 at DDD w/20%. That averages 6.86-per-DVD.

All of the above prices are for 2 DVD sets, so actually cheaper per DVD. But of course, Hamilton isn't offering the entire series...

Yes, they are new . . . it's a limited selection, but if you like any of the series or if you wanted to sample a series, these are great prices. The reasonable $3.50 shipping charge is a flat amount, no matter how many DVDs or books that you buy. Shipping isn't the fastest, usually takes two to three weeks for me to get my orders. Hamilton also carries some A&E VHS sets of some of the same series, plus some early Avengers, pre-Diana Rigg (Honor Blackman as Mrs. Cathy Gale). I'm hoping that we'll continue to see more A&E sets at closeout prices from Edward R. Hamilton in the future.

I got the Terrahawks set a few months ago from Hamilton - awesome deal. The set was brand new, shrinkwrapped, no promo hole punches.

The Persuaders, Set 1

Add the Roger Moore/Tony Curtis early Seventies series "The Persuaders" (set 1) to the list for $19.95. Set 1 is the better of the two sets and includes two episode commentaries from Roger Moore who, apparently, hasn't done much in the way of DVD commentaries. This is a light, breezy show that doesn't take itself too seriously. The two leads improvised some of their dialogue and look to be having a good time.

I kicked myself for not getting the Captain Scarlett DVDs from them for something like $15 a month or so ago... they have a lot of titles to look through and you have to get your order in quick on some items or they are gone. Some pretty good bargains if you can find them.

A few new titles at Hamilton

Edward R. Hamilton has added Space: 1999, set 4 for $14.95 and a few miscellaneous DVDs from the Avengers at $14.95. Two of the three Avengers DVDs are single DVD releases, both with Emma Peel, so $14.95 is not that great a price. The third set features Tara King and is a 2-disc box set.

The New Avengers '76

Hamilton has added the Patrick Macnee series "The New Avengers '76" to their inventory. Four DVD, 13 episode set is available for $21.95 plus shipping. The latest print catalog from Hamilton also lists Set 3 of Patrick McGoohan's "Secret Agent a/k/a Danger Man" for $14.95, though it does not appear in the online catalog. Although it may not quite fit here with the other Sci-Fi and Spy genres, they also have the complete series (13 eps.) of "Carry on Laughing" which was a TV spinoff of the British "Carry On" movies; the two DVD set is $14.95.

Are the DVD's all in one section or do you have to search by each title?
