It usually takes about two weeks, if they are getting a lot of trade-ins it could be longer. (from my experience)

Howdy all - I'm new to using DE, and wondered how what the recommendation is for sending in used dvds after creating the form on the site? Should I box them (6 DVDs) and priority mail them, or should I put them in a padded mailer and send them media mail? All suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I like to put them in a box with some paper-padding / bubble-wrap, then ship via USPS Media Mail + Delivery Confirmation. DE has a PO Box address, so I don't think UPS / FedEx would work, and Priority Mail isn't so cheap anymore. Media Mail can take a while if you're far away, but works well as long as you're not in a hurry.

If you order from DE, they often ship discs in small boxes that are exactly perfect for 6 DVDs. I'll usually recycle those same boxes for sending discs to them for the trade-in-program. Make sure you're discs are in "perfect" condition before trading-them-in. DE has high standards and will return them to you if they're not in good shape - it makes for a great program since you feel quite safe buying used discs from them.

I can't get SEPT2005 to work. The other two went through but that one I get "The coupon that you entered was not found." Have I lost my good sense and hence my ability to shop at digital eyes, or is something wrong?

The used DVDs disappear to be updated from time to time. Just check again later.

Anyone know if the FB points are given based on the pre-credit price or the final price when you use FB credit?

I fixed the coupon to match the emails. The correct code is now SEPT2005. You receive points on the the prediscounted price. You will receive 79 for Red Sox.

Question about selling used DVDs to Digital Eyes: Seinfeld Season sets come in a double cardboard box -- an outer box and then an inner box (and each box has a UPC barcode on it). My set of DVDs themselves are in excellent condition. But the inner cardboard box has the UPC code carefully cut out of it (i.e., there is a rectangular hole where the UPC code was). This is the inner box only. The outer box is completely intact and has its UPC code. So my question is: will Digital Eyes still accept this used set? Or does the condition of the inner box make it a no-sale?

I think that would be OK.

I have a question Mark, am I going to get double points? I had an order ship while there was a power outage according to customer service. The order shows as processing on the website not shipped despite the fact CS assured me it is on the way. I assume this will effect my double points.

Has anyone else noticed it taking longer for discs to ship from Digital Eyes than it used to? I placed an order last Thursday for 4 items, 2 of which were listed as "in stock - ships in 24 hours." The other 2 were pre-orders - one for 9/20, the other for 10/11. The 2 in-stock items and the 9/20 pre-order shipped today (a week later), according to the shipping confirmation I got today. I figured ordering it last Thursday would have been plenty of time for the 2 in-stock items (one of which was $80) and possibly even the 9/20 pre-order to ship during the double points period. But no.

Mark, any reason why it's taking so long for orders to ship lately (I've also noticed it with a couple other recent orders)?

I can't even get a response from them VIA email. I emailed them several days ago, and nothing so far.

Can you please e-mail me the details? Orders have been shipping quickly so there is no reason I can think of for the delay. I do know that there was a problem with some used items being in transfer. If your order included used items, that would most likely explain the delay.
