for everyone on the west coast, the store THE WHEREHOUSE had a stack of rebate slips that were attached to the Scarface Box Sets behind the counter. I'm sure how much the rebate was, but I just thought I might give the heads up.

The Coconuts near me (Louisville, KY) had the set back on sale again yesterday. Heck, I might pick one up and I'm not a big fan of the movie.

Jan. 19, I called up about my rebate from Sept.
They said the error was on their part and I should get my $20 in 6 weeks.

Just picked this up last night in Manchester. $49.99 out the door and the $30 rebate. I sent it in today, so I'm curious when it will arrive. They won't accept PO boxes, so I had to get it mailed to another address.

They still had a bunch of the box sets on the floor, and plenty of the rebate forms were behind the register. Sweet deal

Im not sure how many FYEs are closing, but those that are have been instructed not to honor the rebate. You simply get 20% off the ticket price of $59.99, or $47.99 out the door.

Always a pain having to drive 20+ miles for a 'bargain'.

you should still be able to get the rebate anyway. Parago, the rebate company (also handles Staples rebates and I've done 100s with them) will honor it as long as you have a copy of the receipt. The only hangup is that FYE might not give you the rebate form in which case you'd have to get it from somewhere else.

Parago will even give you the rebate if you paid less than the rebate amount (e.g. if you paid $40 for the product and the rebate was for $50, they'll send you out a $50 rebate check regardless).

I should have been more clear, they will sell you the item, but do not have the rebate forms.

Can anybody help me out with a rebate form for this.

My local FYE says there is no rebate for it. According to a previous poster in this thread this $30 rebate was good until 2/26.

Can ya help a fella out??

go back to the store, tell to look under store reports on the ISP and then click on the file rebatefrm.pdf, then they will be able to print you the rebate.

it is still valid and there is NO reason they should not have it, except perhaps they ran out of slips and are too dumb to know that they can print all the rebates on the ISP.

good luck.

I just checked my status and they received it and are in the 'final processing' stage. Sweet first time with an FYE rebate.

Good stuff, thanks OP.

EDIT: Okay am I the only one that find this amusing? I mean Amazon is known for their prices, but I mean FYE (or Transworld) seems to be having this title at $20 every other month.

I just got an email that they rec'd my rebate claim. They provided me a link to the online status form. Here's what it says:

Rebate: $30.00 Rebate Check
Rebate Information For: xxxxxxxx (I censored the claim #)
Promotion: $30 Mail in Rebate with Purchase of Scarface-Deluxe Gift Set (retailer exclusive)
Submission Type: MAIL
Date Received: 02-15-2004
Status: Processing Rebate
Status Detail: Your rebate is valid and is in the final stages of processing. You should receive your rebate per the terms and conditions listed on the coupon.

Looks like I'm in good shape. Guess I'll open the package now!

I also received my check today, although strangely I still can't get my rebate status on the website.

They're doing this AGAIN

Now the price is $44.99 with a $25 MIR. This can also be done at fye.com and coconuts.com. Coconuts has a coupon for %10 off and free shipping for first time customers, so that's probably the best way to go.

Will the coupon use disqualify the rebate? And cause I'm too lazy to look, mind posting what that coupon code is? Thanks!
