Excellent price for a good mini-series.

Deal's dead (unless they get more in stock)

Anybody know if it's that price in store?

Cheers.

Actually they never were in stock... when I found it it was a 14-30 day lead time (read first message ). I have ordered from Walmart under similar circumstances before (well once for Drunken Master) and it did eventually come through. I figure for 64% off it's worth a gamble

I have never seen the Gormenghast DVD at a Wal-Mart B&M and wouldn't expect to. It's simply too high-class of a title for them to stock. All kidding aside, this is a truly excellent British miniseries and well worth owning, even for a higher price. The next cheapest place that I've been able to find it is Buy.com for $24.49 shipped (not that I would recommend them at this point).

They had to be in stock if you could add it to your cart! Try to do that now.

ah... interesting. Walmart.com has never really made much sense to me to be honest w/ you (wrt their pricing, "lead time" for shipping, etc). That's why I only use them w/ the occasional deals like this. Hopefully some other people were able to get in on it too I guess this also resolves whether or not I should order another copy as a B'day gift for a friend

This DVD is available at Walmart.com again, though it still shows the waiting period.

Maybe it's early spring cleaning and they're putting them up one at a time as they find them Anyway to wrap up I got mine earlier in the week and everything worked out fine. I guess it's worth checking back every once in awhile to see if you can snag a copy.

No complaints from me.

It's back, ordered on Friday got my shipping notice on tuesday. Site still shows that it is in stock.

Do you think we might be tickling wal-mart's automated inventory control system? Each time people from here order the few that are in stock, it might cause them to re-order with a slightly larger quantity, thus making the in-stock time last longer.

Says out of stock again. I already have it, but I had to check because I absolutely love this movie and would buy extras for gifts. (But maybe that wouldn't be good. Everyone I've tried to get to watch it has said they thought it was too weird. . . same with Dark City, my other favorite movie; which is why I rarely recommend movies anymore.)

tasha

Gormenghast and Dark City are both absolutely brilliant and woefully underrated productions. They are also favorites of mine.

Back again. I gave in and ordered. $16.50+ shipped.

Not such a great deal but still the cheapest around.

Ah- gone already.
