Everything went thru and all, but I think I already signed up for that one a long time ago, on a different email address. We shall see, I guess.

What 8-digit Replay Member Number are they talking about?

I was wondering myself if there's like a generic code for each region or where you go about getting one...

I assume you have to already have a reward zone card and you'd punch in the number on it to get the 5k points on your account.

I just signed up for the Replay card last month, and I heard that Suncoast,Sam Goody, etc. have double points days from time to time. Does anyone know when the next one is?

Also, thanks to the OP for getting me an extra 5,000 points. Awesome!

Actually, there was a postcard mailer out a little bit ago for triple points through this week (I think).. not sure if you need that mailer or not to get it.

is this like the best buy rewards zone program where you buy products from their stores/sites and do so using the membership card to obtain points for a cash reward?

if not, how is it different?

Yes, that's exactly what it's like. And also, the participating stores will run double or triple point days every couple of months as well.

you have to purchase a card from the store. it is an 8.99 for a year or 16.99 for two years. Best Buy owned musicland for a while and modeled their reward zone card after the replay card. However they then made it where you had to spend more money to get back a five dollar certificate.

it basically works out to every 100 dollars you spend you get five bucks back. They have double and triple point days/weekends. Also they have bonus points for preorders, buying certain new releases, special internet only sales, etc.

Showbidz is a new program for replay members that allows them to bid on merchandise like autographed guitars, and movie merchandise. If you are a replay member you just have to set up your showbidz account.

exactly. you must have a card to get the bonus, and the link is dead...although they run that promo online for new members all the time.

The trick is to use the triple point days to get $15 bucks back from every $100 you spend: buy yourself a giftcard on the triple point weekends and spend out of that on the single point days.

BTW, when your renewal comes due, DON'T pay to renew. Other people told me this and I didn't believe them, but I tried it as an experiment. My membership expired in July, and they inundated me with renewal offers. Meanwhile, I was still shopping there, using up my giftcards and showing my membership card each time so they knew I was alive. At the beginning of November they sent me a letter with a free renewal, an updated barcode sticker for my membership card, and a bonus $5 certificate to entice me to come in to shop. Not bad.
