I got into Tim Sale's art when Jim Lee picked him to takeover Deathblow when that became a regular series and Lee went on his sabbatical. Early mid 90's?

Has a cause of death been mentioned yet? It just suddenly seemed like it was announced he was at the hospital in bad shape and now dead.

RIP

Everyone is keeping quiet of the reason for his death in order to respect the privacy of the family. Tim was supposed to be at Heroescon next week. There will be certainly a lot of chatter about this as well as the others we have lost over the last several months

What a terrible year for comic book artists. Sale's stylish art really stood out from the crowd.

I just turned my head when I saw this sad news and glanced at the hardback Tim Sale Black And White revised and expanded edition sitting on my shelves. What an insanely talented artist. He really will be missed. He had quite the inimitable style, and you could tell at a glance if you were looking at Tim Sale's artwork or not.
