Batman Silver Age Omnibuses?

Now that DC has completed the Batman Golden Age run of omnibuses are they planning the next stage of Batman Silver Age Omnibuses?

I believe so, but you never know with DC. Batman Silver Age reprints have been long overdue in my opinion.

I am one of the few that liked the Silver Age SiFi Batman.

This helped the Silver Age World Finest Comics since Superman was based on SiFi.

When I was a kid, I grew up on the collection Batman from the 30s to the 70s, and it had a lot of that goofy SA stuff. I liked it, especially the stories with Kathy Kane, but since then I’ve also read some of the stories that weren’t considered worthy of collecting, and they’re... kinda bad. I’d still buy a collection, though.

A year ago, I would have said yes, but now, with the way AT&T is running things, I don't know. They don't seem to really have a plan other than release popular stuff in collections.

I wouldn't count on it. They've already released most of the marketable Bronze Age Batman through collections. I'm not sure how the Golden Age omnibuses sold but if you regularly scour for them, later volumes didn't seem to get very large print runs. Collectors have wanted Silver Age Batman and Superman omnibuses for years.

My preference would be for the Bronze age stuff.

Although, I found myself really disappointed in the Superman In The 70's collection, so maybe my memory of the few Batman comics I bought back then is faulty.

But most of the Batman stuff from the 70's that I've read is pretty good. They were doing their best to catch up to Marvel (who had become successful at appealing to older teens and young adults in the late 60's).
