Len Wein, co-creator of Wolverine and Swamp Thing, has passed away
Just got a wind from people in the industry that the great Len Wein has died. He has had some health issues this past year but it seemed that he was getting better after SDCC. Saddened that I wasn't able to meet him.

Now both are gone, Bernie earlier this year. My childhood is slowly coming to a close and a handful are left during the period in which I was collecting.

Sad news. Among other things, I enjoyed his run on The Amazing Spider-Man.
This is one issue that I have a certain fondness for:
Especially the nicely scripted finale (which cleverly echoes a sequence earlier in the story):

Blessed to have known Len Wein. I first met him in 2008. I told him - from his heart, mind & hands came the greatest character in comics. pic.twitter.com/cFqL1uy0JV

A true giant of the Bronze Age. He touched both Marvel and DC in important ways during his career. He will be missed.
I think he's one of the more important forces to have bridged the industry from the Silver Age to the Modern age.

When I was a kid I really liked his run on JLA with Dick Dillin and Dick Giordano. Now they're all gone.

Thanks to Adam West and Len Wein, both gentlemen made into a life-long BAT-FAN.
And both have passed away within 3 months of each other.
My All-Time Favorite JOKER story was written by Len in BATMAN #321.

I grew up reading Len's comics. I loved his work then, and still like it now when I re-read those classic issues.
Damn. It sucks to see those iconic comic creators pass away. Especially when they aren't all that old, like Len.
I'm just going to be crushed when John Romita Sr goes (and, of course, Stan).
